Agreed guys, way better than bad conditions, but I HATE being cold when I'm off the bike. It's only going to get to 60 at 4pm and be mid 40's till after lunch, so call me a pussy if you want. I'm a fair weather rider! I honestly can't believe that out of 3 replies 2 of you cocksuckers are negative.🤷

I get what you are saying. As I’ve gotten older I’ve become way pickier about the weather I’ll ride in. I’ve tried the whole winter riding thing a few times and absolutely hated it. Was just miserable the entire ride(s). Give me 50 degrees and up I’m good to go. I’m the guy that has really become a shut in during the miserable Michigan winters.
100% agree. I live in Indiana and feel the same. We're retiring this fall and just bought a snowbird home in Florida.
No more wasted winters for me. lol

I’m done. So over winters here. And this is coming from a guy that used to snowmobile hundreds of miles a day on trips in the U.P. We are considering Tennessee as our retirement state.

I drew a bunch of squiggly lines with my XGPS and CR500 at Hangtown yesterday. Highlight of my week as usual. Listen to RDL on the way home, watch SX in the evening.

Have some fun. I have a loader, I have my own private land, I have an Alta that looks like its never been ridden, I have an open invitation to one of the nicest private facilities ....but ...but somehow I also have an elbow that decided life wasn't difficult enough so its holding me hostage with some freak out of the blue injury that started on the 18 hour drive to get Alta. It's really screwing with my mental state. It feels like my leg did when I broke my back. Fire on my elbow on top and bottom and weak. No one has time for this.
Try some light muscle scraping starting at wrist and moving up towards elbow then past.

Been slightly above freezing up in Alberta for the last couple weeks, so they were able to back off on the "studs-only" rule at the track. Dirt is dirt, even if there's hard ice one inch down...

I was there today!

Burned 5 gallons this weekend at the tracks down the street from the house here in California. Little warm and dry for this time of year. Got some good waves too. Typical weekend, but I’m not in the top 20 so who cares?

We drove 7 hours south to ride at Reed’s & MX 421, in balmy Northern Carolina. ‘Twas a good time.

I'm pumped to ride, but the snow and single digit and negative temperatures keep me grounded. lol
Plus, I am trying to sell my bike. It's show room clean, all new plastics, and new tires. I don't want to touch her now. lol

Get some laps in for me boys. I’m bed ridden for a few months and dying to throw a leg over a new bike.

Your lucky to b riding the ice. Your track looks Great got anymore pics ? I wanted to go home at the end of Feb and ride the ice on the fox river and the bay. And a rd trip to Merril Wi. The fastest ice 1/8 mi drag strip. Road kill the show filmed there racing that 77 el Camino classic, a couple yrs ago. But I,m going to try working till the end of April. Then I,ll b riding and racing a lot. 8 rnds of Millville, 8 points races in Wi. 4 rnds of racer X vet series. Nothing beats ice riding for mastering bike control.

Hope you get better soon, that stinks... I have arthritis symptoms that sound like your elbow -_-. Fun times.

It's nice little track with two bigger table tops, small rhythm section and some small whoops. It has some elevation changes too, but it's impossible to clear the hills from snow so in the winter we ride only shortened version of the track.

This is how the track looks like during summer:

I was dead ass tired after being at supercross all day yesterday. The races were exciting. Super tired but made it out to Pala and had an absolute blast. It was like a private ride day. It was 90 degrees this weekend in SoCal! I can't remember ever wearing shorts and a T-Shirt to Anaheim. Didn't even have to bust out a sweatshirt for the night show

Awesome track someone even plowed it. I,ve ridden Mx tracks in the snow. It’s a lot of fun I crash less on them, no one wants to hit the frozen ground. Is that a Mugan 125 when it hits it sounds like one.

The bike in the video is a 2013 KTM 150SX with some engine mods. It's a real screamer

I'm so ready for better weather as well, so we can get back out there on the Linton MX track!! Best place I've ridden so far during my return to motocross. I've been hitting B52 Hangar MX the last 3 weekends (wife went with me, she is awesome) and it's been great to be able to ride when it's 12 degrees outside!
