6/29/2023 3:22pm Well, the debate comes from the fact that you CAN kill a grizzly with a 9mm, but it's less likely and requires much better shot placement. My grandfather used to drop cows with a 22 revolver. But he had to be right on top off it, and I don't think I want a grizzly to get that close! As in...

6/29/2023 3:13pm Agreed, I'm always barrel tip high when I just "grab" a Glock 20 off the table. Not a good way to start from the draw. Good grip is critical, find what fits you the best.

6/23/2023 5:56am I just got back from a Yellowstone trip and went thru the same debate prior to the leaving. I shoot a lot, so I decided on a 10mm as well, Sig XTEN in fact. I liked the 15 controlled shots idea over the revolver, as many guides in Alaska have switched to 10mm as well. That being said, I also...

3/23/2023 5:46pm Nobody from what I have seen has had any pitchforks out, in point of fact we have all agreed Webb shouldn't be penalized. The issue of "reading the rulebook" for me was confusing the current standing AMA supercross and motocross rules that are different for the EXACT same flag. Read my post above and you'll see that AMA motocross rules...

3/22/2023 5:30am Great idea! Maybe even blue for lappers, who seem unable to see flaggers waiving furiously at the side of the track. Logistically this could get very "busy", but one could argue the flags are busy and hard to see as well. The problem will likely come down to money, like always. Even still, I really like this idea as it...

3/22/2023 5:25am A lot of crazy ideas tossed out on here, but I don’t think this is one. In order to make it easer for Supercross racers to see the flashing red lights, what if lights where also shined onto the face of the jumps? That way as a racer approaches the face he couldn’t miss it since the whole jump would be flashing red. Obviously a little testing would need to be done on angles and type of light that would show up on a dirt face. Any reason it wouldn’t work?

3/21/2023 6:22am I don't want to beat a dead horse, and the rules are clear now for white with red cross flags during a Supercross event, but I knew there must be an explanation for why so many of us thought it was wheels on the ground. That is the current rule for MOTOCROSS according to the official AMA rules. https://americanmotorcyclist.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/23_AMA_Raci… WHITE...

3/20/2023 9:37pm While I didn't blame Roger, I did accept the wheels on the ground rule from a post that had a screenshot listing AMA rules that looked pretty official. I will not make that mistake again! I accept that wheels on the ground is NOT in the current rules and I was wrong. Was it a rule before and has it...

3/20/2023 4:17pm I beleive the video is more a summarized review of the rules for the layperson...I will admit I do not know the specific rules other than the screenshot that was posted a few pages back that listed AMA rules for red cross flags, which did specifically say "wheels cannot leave the ground". If it is only the rules listed in...

3/20/2023 2:28pm Fair enough, and if you are correct about the other riders behind Webb also jumping a little, and I'm going to assume you are correct for the sake of argument, then I think they should be penalized as well. At some point though you are right, it does become ridiculous to measure inches in such a fast passed sport, but...

3/20/2023 2:32pm I don't comment much on this forum, but I do think I have something to add to this. As a father and a business owner, I try to limit disputes by setting standards that can be defined very clearly. That way when an infraction or mistake occurs, we all know the rules and the level of punishment or reprimanding that...

3/8/2022 11:25am Where can you get a 22 CRF250R for that price in this market? PA isn't too far away for a good deal. Dealers around here were nowhere near 8099 OTD. Most dealers were 9,500 to 10,200 OTD after tax, freight and fees, IF they could even get one before June. I'm not saying you didn't get that price quoted, I...

2/16/2022 9:45am Yeah, the track is built inside one of the old B52 hangars. It's actually pretty cool to see it. My son is a Jr ROTC member and he thought it was great. 👍

2/15/2022 5:36am I'm so ready for better weather as well, so we can get back out there on the Linton MX track!! Best place I've ridden so far during my return to motocross. I've been hitting B52 Hangar MX the last 3 weekends (wife went with me, she is awesome) and it's been great to be able to ride when it's 12...

2/14/2022 6:34am No problem, glad it's because you're waiting on new wheels! Have fun on your first ride, she handles/turns great...like it's attached to your brain stem. Now, if I could get her to feel a little more plush without a complete revalve and massage from Factory Connection... I'm 170lbs and a little slow on the speed side, so you'd think it...
