What a letdown. Another streaming app that won't have the bugs worked out on all the platforms people use nowadays. The biggest disappointment is that this is a step back, the Moto broadcast is still in a vicegrip by some broadcasting company rather than the promoters putting together their own platform..

MXGP, MotoGP, any other great racing series handle their own product, and we get great coverage of those. For the nationals, we have to get a broadcast company that have never been on most major TV providers.

Play back the excuses for why the actual content has to suffer for US nationals (and even SX, but thats a different story). I like to see if I can hear any new ones!

Welcome to the streaming world! Shitty quality and $5 hear and $5 there. Before you know it you will be paying more to stream and getting less quality. Wait until they increase the quality ang you have to pay for better internet service.
What does this have to do with the streaming world? If you have shitty service it’s on your end not the streaming service…I get it you’re one of those that thinks everything should be “free” in your $200 a month cable bill….hardly anything has been announced other than all motos will be live on MAVTV and on MAVTV+… doesn’t you’re cable provider have MAVTV?

There's no MAVTV+ streaming service in New Zealand? I don't think it's geo-blocked anywhere... Let me look into it for you on Monday.

As long as the MAVtv subscription is the same as peacock was I'm fine with it (commercial free and qualifying) if they make us pay and watch commercials we riot

Finally international viewers are going to be able to watch it (legally) I have suffered every year finding ways to watch it....

It sucked!! but I am happy to pay and watch it without troubles... hopefuly is a good service and stuff..

EDIT: WTF???? WHY THE HELL IS THAT? what is the reason behind that? just those countries... I have watched MXGP since Villopoto went there and F1 since last year... SX since they launched the international pass (expensive as F) but men those are the only thing that I love to watch! DAMN Im pissed

Don’t personally care what platform it’s on as long as we still get full motos not interrupted by commercials. I’ll just cancel my peacock sub once SX is over and start up the MAVTV subscription until MX is over.

Nervous about getting our motos interrupted though, I’m not gonna lie, but hopefully this isn’t a step backwards.

As someone said earlier. I would think if it was going to be commercial free on the app they would've come out and said that right away as a marketing tool. I'm worried the app will just be the tv broadcast with commercials and that's a huge step back if so

Why can't Mav TV get both sx and outdoors ? So dissatisfied with moving shit around and tape delayed.

Not real pumped about having to buy another package and even less pumped that pro motocross is in with Lucas Oil so deep. They gave all of their amateur program the big middle finger and told all of us to beat it a couple years ago. Ever since that I don't use any of their stuff anymore.

Well watching US motocross/supercross sucks as an international viewer. First, we get offered a terrible international package for supercross at a rip off price. So a viewer works around it by paying for a vpn service and paying a family member is the USA the annual fee for Peacock to be able to watch all the racing, then finds out that the promoter has once again moved to another provider.

I pay a premium for MXGP and I hate lining Giuseppe’s pockets with my colourful Canuck bucks, but I get value from the consistency provided, even when the provider of the service changes in the background. 20 races of MXGP with the same format every race, beautiful intros of the countries where the race is taking place, and Uncle Paul Malin starting and finishing conversations with himself while calling the races.

DC - I have done my best to support you and MX sports through NBC Gold (good one year for int. Viewers, kicked off the next). Mavtv - single motos, to peacock. You are so close to delivering what is needed, just need to confirm commercial free on subscription and let us know that the production will stay with this provider for a while (consistency). You may think 3 months is a long time, but some of us have to plan over longer periods to get the logistics in place to support you.

I want you to get some pink and brown ($50 & $100) bills from us Canadians too.

I don't mind paying to watch what I love. Just would have been cool to know this before paying for Peacock for a full year at the beginning of SX. I would have just paid for the Jan-May....

Thanks for what you do DC, can't please everyone!

Nope. At least that's not the case with the Lucas Oil Late Model Series. Live is live, no rewind.

Is it possible this is just a map of their tv network but the mavtvplus app is available everywhere? Try searching for the mavtvplus app on one of your devices.

So what else is on MavTV? At least with Peacock we get movies, tv shows, sports, etc. I have a sinking feeling that all I’ll get with MavTV is motocross and a bunch of low budget auto racing that I won’t watch. Hope I’m wrong.

This. I hadn’t even thought about that. Month to month next year, for sure.

Being on the east coast now, I can never find MAVTV. I haven’t had cable in 8 years and I don’t see it in my Android TV/Google Play store. I just looked in my Apple App Store and MAVTV Plus shows up, just want to triple check that this is the app I want correct? I wrote this because I found a Lucas Oil Motorsports app and I know Lucas owns MAVTV correct?

Yes mavtvplus is what you want. From what I understand, Lucas oil motorsports app is their old app, mavtvplus is their new one.

I’m glad both motos are going to be on the same station back to back. For those of us with crappy internet options this is much better than the last couple years of delayed motos

Seriously concerned the quality is going to suffer on some level. The fact the MAVTVPLUS app has 2 out of 5 stars on the App Store is not a good start.

Peacock’s service has refined in the past year somehow to where the picture is crystal clear HD… and no it’s not my internet speed changing. Also they’ve finally got the start your viewing mid-race thing mostly figured out, albeit you have to track back to the beginning trying not to see results our what’s onscreen.

Even if the MAVTV crew are shooting the action and have been producing the coverage in years past… I don’t trust the hand off to such a new, untested, hardly utilized streaming service that likely has less bandwidth and capability than a giant like NBC/Peacock.

How can we possibly have faith in a little streaming service that has 42 poor reviews vs. one that has 720,000 good ones!
