let's see, we have a pretty damn big moment in a pro race, and our "media" is actually asking the parties involved how they feel about it? I'll take it.

Especially because if this was ET3, he'd have retired to his RV, vanished back to CO, and would only respond with "I've moved on" if asked later. IF ASKED. Because our "moto media" isn't exactly known for asking pertinent questions about topics that fans honestly care about. They're busy with "How ya feeling this week? or "Are you gelling w/ the bike?" Yawn.

People seem to be buying the lie that seeing anything they don't like is having it "shoved down their throats."

Totally agree, moran_on's constant whining got old 40 posts ago.

With no end in site...looks like it's time to clip the guy again so he can pick a new moniker to be annoying under. What a bitter jack wagon.

Just looked up the racer x vault which doesn't include the 2022 season, Craig has 59 total sx races under his belt and was born in 1991, Friese has 150 sx races under his belt and was born in 1990.

For reference

I dont really understand the hype about Craig. Yes he looks really good riding, but what has he done to deserve all this hype? He hasnt won much in his long career. Has he won a pro championship? And he is right now riding against a very week field with like 2-3 guys that are fast. Im not bashing him, i like him. But i dont understand the insane hype he is getting from everyone.
I'm quoting Craig himself but he puts himself on his own high horse. He literally told the media that no one has had a career like his. Referring to injuries and comebacks. How the hell has no one called him out on him saying that? It's a ridiculous take on himself. So many riders have fought back from massive injuries and have had huge success from it as well. I don't get how the media can just hear that and go on without saying anything. The guys has ridden for multiple factory teams 250 and 450 at this point. It's not like he was out there scrapping it on his own dime as a privateer.

He's winning by 10+ seconds and would be finishing top 5 in 450 with his times. He hasn't been that good in years past, thats part of why now its like "whoa".

I will believe it when it happens next year. A lot of guys who are successful on a 250 cannot make it in the 450 class.

He stepped away to real hardship. Getting a job working for his father in law.

And then heroically coming back to a factory bike provided by said father in law

Plenty of guys have stepped away due to injuries for a brief period and came back to win.

When you say climbed back to this point you mean race winner I'm assuming. Craig said this at the beginning of the season at a press conference.

A dude wins when it’s regular racing…or…he makes a run for the podium AFTER being put on the ground and back to 19th-22nd…and that’s in a TEN MINUTE MAIN! For Fuqs Sake!

And still, some of us HAVE TO find something to bitch about?

Please, go do something-else.

Or, as Mav will eventually tell you,”The pattern is full.” (Top Gun reference for the un-initiated Grinning )

This is so annoying. Can we chill with the "real job" bullshit? Didn't he get a job with a company his wifes dad owns or something? Not neccesarily the same as you going to put an an application at a local construction outfit. Also, do we just forget the fucking millions of dollars he made in his career prior to that point? Literally I remember him at lorettas in 2007 showing up in a fucking million dollar coach with custom decals on it before he was even pro. The dude has not had to "struggle" a day in his life jesus. Yes he has had injuries but who hasn't?

Also, he got fucking 3rd place at the last 450 national...yes 450.. and hes racing a 250 REGIONAL class with Derek Kelly and Robbie Wageman (no disrespect to these guys at all) are battling for top tens... Hes a fucking 30 year old who has had a factory ride for 10+ years and he is on the best bike and best team in the sport right now.

I like Steve, but that is just dumb. It is a WEAK 250 regional class. That is why it is so easy for CC to come through the pack.

That the relationship between him leading a series and how "impressive" it is that he quit to "work a real" job is not nearly as remarkable as people (including him and his #1 fan who shares wedding vows with him) makes it seem.

I don't understand the hate for this guy really. He is bad ass on a bike and making the 250 West class look really bad including Hunter Lawrence for the most part. He seems like a genuine guy that is a good Husband and Father as well. He is getting paid to win a championship and he is on his way.

I really think most of them are jealous…they bitch about these guys never open up and then when they do like Craig has…they bitch about that….I’m convinced that all problems in MX/SX are either Craigs fault or Peacocks fault…
