I mean, he cuts hard left gets on the brakes takes Craig’s front end out resulting in about seven dudes going down.

I get all fair in love and war, but a little early to be doing that right?

In all seriousness, the move over was necessary and is a part of racing. I just believe that once the position was made a little extra braking was done to bunch that inside up. Thats a real pro move, that people are missing.

I am not crying foul. It is a part of racing, just an observation.

They should have black flagged him, threw the red flag, and gave Craig another chance to get a better jump at the start…

I watched it a few times and my sentiment was that Craig got a bad jump but came into the first turn at an angle that assumed there was no one on the inside of him.

Have you ever lined up and took a gate drop? This is completely normal. If you have a wheel on a guy you better be crowding him and taking that spot. Not a damn thing dirty there and it’s total natural instinct no matter what class, age or skill level.

Hmmmmm....

I have had a few gate drops in my time. 1999 Houston SX 125cc was one of my finer ones. Binghamton outdoor that year in the first moto was pretty good as well. Glen Helen 125cc national I had a stellar one once. But enough about me.....

Moving over is not the question. Thats all fair. I think it was a little extra braking once the position was made to bunch up the inside. Its a real pro move that isn't being talked about. Pretty cheeky and well played.

Where did Hunter have to go? If you are smart enough to look at the whole picture Mosiman got the jump and moved over on Hunter which left him pushing into Craig.

It was just racing, and I don't blame anyone, but Mosiman controlled that corner.

Damn ok, you’re a stud, that’s rad. I didn’t see it as a brake check and don’t feel like there was any foul play. If anything I saw it as, I have the spot, I’m going to squeeze whoever I can and get on the brakes hard to square up the corner and keep it tight.

I will absolutely agree, without any hesitation that the move over was warranted is a part of racing, especially with Mosiman coming over as well.

I also believe that braking harder as he moved left was indeed purposeful. He knew who was there.

I am not crying foul. Its certainly racing. Just an observation.

Placing Top 10- Making it into the top 10 in the overall point standings for both classes for the year allows a rider to choose a permanent number. They are allowed to choose any number between 11-99 that is currently open. If there are multiple options it’s up to the rider’s personal preference

How many times have we seen the guy in Hunter's position get punted high-side? That's an awfully risky move. I'm guessing Hunter was just trying to hug the inside, not intentionally brake checking the field.

I agree with Regis. I also thought he stopped a little short. I don't know if he did it on purpose but with the pause it looked like an intentional mistake to me.

Craig gets credit playing Sushi at start gate as he is veteran but coming in too hot when guys closing cap at first corner like beginner. You can see things two ways. Hunter took page from Prado's playbook.
