I don’t know if the tv broadcast caught it or not but live you could see that the first person to congratulate Hombre and hug him was Barcia. He was super pumped for Anderson and it was amazing to see.

I really thought Anderson would do no better than top-10 this year…even on the factory Kawasaki. I’m really shocked…but really glad to see I was wrong. I hope Jason proves a lot of people wrong this season. He’s still got it!

When you consider last weeks ride from 7th to P2 on lap 15 before the Barcia incident, I think it's fair to say he's been the most impressive rider so far after 2 races.

Refreshing to see JA21 get the win. Hope the trend continues. As much as I liked seeing him on the Husky, he looks so dam# comfortable on the Green bike.

Sooo stoked to see the W from Anderson. I feel like he cops too much flack for his ‘laid back’ life style.

Dude still clearly trains his arse off and takes this shit serious, no need to post the training all over ig.

Damn he looks aggressive on the kawi. Cool to see his mechanic get the W with him too. Good combo that one.

I have to give it up to him for a great start to the season. I was wrong about some predictions on here and really thought he wasn't willing to put in the work to be at the elite level he demonstrated last night. I hope it continues and all the top guys stay healthy.

El Hombre was on it last night. He looked great. I admit that I had pretty much counted him out as a serious title contender, but after his win last night and his good showing last week until the Barcia incident - he is no doubt a leading contender for the title this year. It's great to see him back and no doubt, it won't be his last win this season.

If anyone listened to the gypsy podcast with Tom journey, tom stated basically that people don't give Jason enough credit for knowing his bike and feeling everything on the bike. He seems to have got the feel for the Kawasaki really well and I believe just coz he doesn't tell everyone how hard he's training nobody thinks he trains as hard. Proof is in the pudding, if Barcia didn't take him down there would be a red plate on a #21 this week.

I said in multiple other threads before the season started that the power rankings having him not in the top 10 was absolutely insane and disrespectful. He may possibly be riding with a bigger chip on his shoulder than even Cooper Webb right now. People dragged him, counted him out, and his long time team did him (slightly) dirty. He’s out for blood and speed has never been his problem.

Could see in pre season he looked super comfy on the KX. I had him and Mookie pegged to be the right there. Both have the speed to run away when they get a decent start. Also that Kawi can get good starts.
Also Also. AC and JA are similar in stature and seem to be there testing together, unlike when Tomac was on the team, so this will help the Kawi team excel.

Yeah, Kawi always seems to have a really good base from the get go. Both Savagty and AC were really good right at the beginning aswell. The bike itself definitely is not the reason that made Tomac swap to Star Racing, but maybe the change got Anderson fired up again. Obviously if you're able to win at this level the fitness and program ain't the problem.

He looked very good in A1 and proved it's not fluke in Oakland.

He looks like he's back into 2018 form, I think his win proves that the competition isn't as strong as people make it out to be, yes people are very close in laptimes but that doesn't mean the competition level is at a all time high.

I really, really hope he stays healthy. The big thing with this W is that he looked very good at A1 also, this was not a fluke.

If he stays healthy and keeps this up, he could actually fight for the title until the last round!
