My living room is a hell of a lot warmer than MN, has no restrictions and all the beer and snacks I could ask for.

So, who give AF about their policy.

I still have to buy 2 tickets so anyone that is now not going and has tickets, let me know. I could buy them off you if they’re decent.

Admin Note: Minneapolis Supercross Covid policy is as follows: For event entrance, attending public must show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19/PCR test that was conducted within 72 hours of the event's start time. Either of these routes will gain you access to the event alongside a valid ticket.

Just an fyi for anyone going to Minneapolis. The article also stated it includes ticketed events. I really wish I wouldn’t of bought ticket’s already…..

Email me when you think you can post again without personally attacking other members or can stay out of Covid topics without being a…well, you know. Your account is locked.

Somehow, no matter how many times I type this out lately, some people are just not listening. Do not personally attack members, especially with a sort of threat of death. And also, stay out of Covid and political topics if you can’t debate or just discuss it without instantly jumping to shit slinging.
This whole thread should've been clipped with this post. it just gets worse.

I have never taken a rapid test but I hear they are pretty easy on your nose. The regular test that takes 3 days to get results hurts but not much worse than getting water up your nose swimming. Your other option is to go to Indy, I don't think they are going to require any of that. St. Louis might not either and probably a shorter drive for you but not sure on that.

The question is can you get a refund on the tickets?

I’m going to try and get a refund, I’ll definitely be taking my money to a red state like Indy or St. Louis instead. Just a bummer because Minneapolis was always my favorite round
Just a heads up: STL City & County set the rules for the Dome, not the state, and they're requiring masks be worn. Tests aren't required.

I’m fine with wearing a mask. Had to do it last year in Indy. I’m going to wait till a week or two before to buy tickets now just in case st louis try’s to pull the same crap

At some point the world has to realize COVID is here to stay. They need to just leave it up to people to decide whether they want to attend public events or not, and whether they want to get the vaccines or not. Similar to what we were doing pre covid.

I’m with you on being a misanthrope….I’m not sure the pandemic has brought out the worst in people but the politicians who have politicalized it sure have….

Yes that is the first big organization to take that step, getting past the vax requirements for all regardless of prior infection.

And supreme court just shut down the OSHA/Biden mandate for employers with over 100 employees. So that is dead now too.

The whole vax mandate overreach is going to be coming to an end soon. Live your life, make your own choices.

It is so astonishing to me how many older adults act like children from this pandemic.

It's a vaccine. They aren't asking you to cut your balls off or amputate a leg. It is literally just a vaccine.

Fucking children. Good grief. Collectively, just a bunch of whiney ass babies.

Dallas-Scheduled & Booked (Including flying some friends in from Minn. Go figure!)
Daytona-Scheduled & Booked.

Some of us aren't into this insanity of 'showing your papers' like the Gestapo did in the 30s & 40s. Grinning

Meanwhile, & as others have pointed out...and maybe we could all jus' chill and read up on what the CDC has been FINALLY throwin' down as of late...

From the NCAA:

The NCAA has released updated guidance for winter sports competing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 Winter Training and Competition document follows recent updates by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including recommendations for quarantine and isolation. The updated guidance addresses broad considerations that differentiate COVID-19 management in Tier 1 individuals based on vaccination and other immunity considerations.

For purposes of the winter guidelines, the NCAA COVID-19 Medical Advisory Group has developed a definition of “fully vaccinated” that considers both vaccination status and other immunity factors that may impact risks for Tier 1 individuals, including student-athletes and coaches. Those considered fully vaccinated include people:

Within two months of having completed the primary series of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine (one dose).

Within five months of having completed the primary series of the mRNA Pfizer vaccine, or within six months of having completed the primary series of the mRNA Moderna vaccine (two doses for both).

Who have received a booster vaccine if they are beyond two months of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or beyond five or six months of the mRNA Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, respectively.

A person who has had a documented COVID-19 infection in the past 90 days is considered the equivalent of “fully vaccinated.”

I'm jus' sayin'...

If you are opposed to vaccination then all you need is a negative test. I'd just check into how you show proof of a negative test. I think you can get an at home PCR test, spit in a tube, mail it back to the state hygienic lab. A few days later you get your results.

Boston just imposed a copy of your vaccination to attend Celtic games today. A negative covid test is no longer accepted.
