I’m a big fan but can he make a main?

To be fair just making the night show is an achievement !!

Is he getting any help from Husky?!

He’ll be at such a massive horsepower and torque disadvantage. Forget making the main. If he’s going to race 250 SX on a 125 2 stroke, I just hope he makes it out in one piece!

Hoping he does and believing he will are two different things unfortunately. I'd love to see it, but even if he did I don't believe he'd be competitive.

He might make it sometime and somewhere... But it will be very few if he does. Love the effort, but the Stank Dog doesn't have the pace needed anymore.

A better question would be... Where does Jett finish on a 125?

C'mon AMA, get with the times... 250cc is 250cc, let them race.

3 years ago I tried a sxf 250, I was at the time only used to 450’s, the 250 felt gutless off the bottom, needed to be ragged to get the most out of it. Tbh I only had a short go, needed more time to adjust.

I was always a 450 guy, but last year I switched to 250 sx after 15 years away from a smoker. I expected to be slower but have more fun.

I was amazed how rideable the 250 sx is, smooth power, turns on a dime, good suspension, light.

I’ve left it stock & don’t think it’s effected lap times much to a 450 from perception.

Did you catch much of the Luppicci in emx 250 last year ? That’s a low budget small team, can you imagine what a big team could do with a 250 2 stroke ?

Start would be an issue purely down to horse power. But if we assumed a holeshot, then it may even be an advantage on a 250 2 stroke.

Personally I think 250 smokers are less fatiguing once you master the timing of the power. For a beginner forsure would be harder to ride then a 4 stroke, because it does take more skill to ride a 250 2t. Someone like KR has the talent to keep the traction, less enersia & bike weight may well be an advantage come the end of a race.

With todays field, he is probably around 25-30 (based on Free practice). Give it 4-5 rounds of people getting hurt and it’s possible he could sneak one in.

Is his rate for making mains about 20% or less on a 250F? I’d think it’d be far less likely on a 125. Unlikely, but not completely impossible if everything lined up just perfectly.
