I don’t care whether they’re vaccinated or not but they should be honest about it either way. The bottom line is that the conditions of entry should be the same for every single competitor, vaccinated or not

This is an issue for the governing body and promoters to deal with as they're the ones who put these regulations in place. And I doubt they'll take it seriously or examine it.

I appreciate that they have (mostly/possibly) done what they thought was the best with the info they had at the time.

However, it blows me away that in 2021/22 governments are just issuing pieces of paper as evidence of vaccination status. Why they are not using blockchain technology seems daft to me - secure and can easily store sufficient information to prove vaccination status anywhere in the world (and Courtney's post, and this thread, might not exist!).

Maybe someone more technologically-minded can explain why governments aren't using blockchain for vaccination cards?
