I didn’t catch any info, but is that a left hand rear brake and a foot brake? Decide which you prefer and get rid of one kinda thing? The video they didn’t seem to have it on.

I thought the same thing, I think the foot brake for me would be natural but LH rear brake would be kinda cool doing RH turns while dragging rear brake

I rode a alta and thought it was pretty damn good, this bike looks like it is alot better then the alta in alot of areas. I have 15 acres with neighbors close by, this bike hopefully will allow me to build a legit track without the noise that would shut me down. I love ICE's but this looks pretty legit. Only thing I am curious on is how are they going to distribute it? Dealers or send direct to your house?
This has been my exact thought with electric bikes. Do I like the sound and smell of ICE bikes, yes. Do I like to be able to come home from work and ride for 30 minutes every evening without having to haul my bike anywhere or listen to the neighbors complain? Also, YES.

It will be like my childhood where I could ride after school on my parents land. I want one!

@Michael Lindsay,

Can we get a Josh Hill interview about this?

@pulpmx

Can you have Hill or Seb on?

Who is the powerhouse manufacturer who dictates to the AMA what should and shouldn't go....?

Is it just chance that STARK made their bike RED??

Indoor tracks would be a lot more doable if you don’t have to worry about ventilation and noise.

Just make the 450 class a production open class. Both ama and fim.

If AMA are really about the sustainability of motorcycling they should be all over this. Sadly, they are probably more interested in the sustainability of payments from tha major manufacturers

I've never been one of those "stamp it" types, but any OEM still willing to spend their R&D money on future ICE motocross bikes juuuuuuust became, uhhhh,"moranic."

Stamp it.

So then, anyone want to buy a shitload of well-used metric wrenches?

I kno a lot of ppl r upset about the sound, but if we have to trade some sound for literally anybody being able to ride in their back yard and no more tracks getting shut down due to noise issues I think thats a trade off thats worth it. Especially with the e minis its going to allow soooo many more kids to be able to ride at their house that this could lead to the biggest boom in ridership the sport has ever seen. Ill miss the sound too, but I wont miss it that much when I can go ride in my backyard whenever I want.

didnt watch the full video but the only real downside of e-bikes is charge time. you cant moto it all day like you can w/ a ICE engine bike

still very cool though

It looks cool. I might buy it sometime down the road. I'm kinda skeptical that 6kWh is enough for 30 min Moto... But the weight looks good. Isn't 80 hp a bit too much for mere mortal on dirt track? Whistling
somebody posted the server's home address and employment information?

It’s just a guess, but after seeing the body work, swingarm, and rear chain guide, I would say that the KTM/Husky/GasGas group is deeply involved in this. Any inside info on this?

I just looking through the ordering process. Pretty cool feature that you can get suspension setting based on weight along with other custom touches.

Until they can figure out better longevity and quicker charging, these are never gonna take over ICE’s. It takes 5 seconds to fill a tank with VP. A 1 hour charge time ain’t gonna cut it.

But I also like working on bikes. I like buying PC works pipes, changing top ends, etc.

Obviously all you EV fans are gonna disagree and downvote.

I put 2-3hrs on my bike per day at the track at b class pace.

That bike will last 1-2 motos for me.

That would not work for me. And many others.

You could do two district races on a single charge lol, not withstanding the 3 hour opportunity to charge between moto 1 and 2

Probably the whole sx night show on a single charge as well

EV will kill the moto industry when it comes to aftermarket and hard parts. I hope we just add these bikes as an option and don’t wholesale move to electric. A lot of people will be out of work if that happens.
