That's awesome! I love the looks of the new Frontier. Definitely better than the outdated Ranger, Colorado, and the million Tacomas on the road. The Ridgeline is also a really great truck. I'd get one of these new Nissans if I wasn't dead set on getting a Cybertruck...

Oh good me n my buddy thought we were the only ones. Who thought riverdale has turned into squid central. It's needs a redo especially the "main track" it lacks flow and its not a fun layout.

Richland is running this weekend but this is the last one until like February. There's the arenacross the NW arenacross races. But now 80% of its all at the fairgrounds in Monroe WA (east of Everett). They do a couple rounds in January in Redmond Oregon.

This is when Clark county arenacross closing down a few years back blows. Some guy missed a berm and went through the arena wall. County said no more. Maybe I've heard rumors that salem fairgrounds is allowing arenacross again? It's been a long time last I remember it was 03. I could be wrong on salem and it's just flat track they started up again.

Otherwise your pretty much sol for any decent track riding outside of woodland or riverdale.

My GMC canyon 2017 it's not quite little and definitely not quite large like the big ass tucks.

Salem is not running indoors this year due to our snowflake governor.

Riverdale needs a lot of love to be good again - like you said main track has little flow. Lack of splits there make it unsafe at time with the wide variety of skills/speeds. I'm also not a huge fan of the dirt there. It's weird stuff with the volcanic ash/sand and river rocks over a hard base.

Woodland has stepped up with their prep, and the layout can be fun, but it's a really small space so 3rd gear is all you ever see. Splits are good but turnout can still be high in all of them which is compounded by the small track.

Other than that there's nothing. I got my concept 2 and the weights so offseason training is my plan for the most part, except when weather is good.

Squid Central xD Yeah Riverdale has gone downhill. I used to like it way back when the track flowed and there was the nice size double in the middle. Now whenever I'm there people always crash in the front section and hit the fence lol.
I don't even mess with the other tracks there, they suck.

Horn Rapids is nice but the drive is a little far for me. Same goes for the AX in Monroe Sad
I really miss Clark. Man, the tracks around here are dwindling every year. Maybe I need to move (hell no, not CA)

I would love to have a small truck again. I have owned S-10's and Sonoma trucks up until 2005. The new 'small' trucks are large, gas guzzling, and bring a major car payment. I'll look for small trucks here in NW Illinois, but they are typically rusted out beyond belief.

Kate Brown needs to go.
I agree, Riverdale and Albany need lots of love. Their flow is gone.
Woodland is okay but there are wayyyy too many people there. Get's super rough too.

Picked this thing up a couple months ago. So easy to just throw 1 bike in the back in the back and it’s a 5 speed so it’s fun to drive. Will probably get a Ford Maverick down the road once it’s no longer reliable but it only has 125k on it right now

Just drove one of these and was thinking of this thread the whole time. I hope they sell a bunch of these. Hybrid is 40ish mpg, price starts around 20k, and I think would work pretty well for a lot of moto guys not doing much towing.

Just took one for a test drive yesterday. It’s a surprisingly nice truck for the price. Thinking of trading in my 14 F150. I do like the F150 but it’s a much more capable truck than I need.

The days of really small cheap trucks are gone, unfortunately. In the early 70s, LA freeways were full of Datsun pickups with two Honda 125 in the back and two guys with painters hats and shoulder length hair bombing their way out to the race track, LOL. Cheap to buy, cheap on gas. Those days are long gone now! Between us all growing up and wanting nicer and more powerful vehicles, and crash standards, trucks have gotten way bigger. I doubt anyone would really like to go back to those little things, but who knows? I’d still like something like my ‘64 El Camino though.

That was my sole purpose in getting this vehicle as I needed to be able to commute or get good gas mileage, but still take 1-2 bikes comfortably with gear. The truck has a lot of nice features and I think will be a nice option for many that don't need to tow a ton outside of the bike/trailer.

Kicking myself for not ordering my Hybrid. Looks like I’m waiting until Spring to order. Model year 22 is sold out because of demand and chip shortages.

I have been following the Maverick since even before Ford finally admitted it was a real thing. I saw 1 in person back in September when they had a trainer at my local Ford dealer. Got to test drive 1 early October. Both were the Turbo 4 cyl with 250hp, AWD and the towing package that let's you tow up to 4k lbs. I got no use for any hybrids and wanted the extra power and towing of the ECOboost and still gets 29MPG freeway and 25/6 combined. I'm ordering mine This Wednesday Cool

506k+, speedo went out a few years ago. I have more invested in any of my mtb's than this truck.

The Maverick (like StevenMX's) is literally the cheapest vehicle in the entire Ford lineup.

How about this old 1971 Toyota Hi-Lux? My brother in law and me back in 87. I bought it for $150. Put a clutch in it and drove it a couple years.

My co-worker is doing that (we both ordered XLT Hybrid Mavericks when they were announced). If his 14 F150 is still worth what it is now, he should almost break even on the Maverick lol. His only has 75k miles.

Don't hold your breath waiting for hybrid/AWD. No word at all that is being considered on this version. Maybe a PHEV on the next generation refresh though.

The chassis is based on the escape and that model currently has hybrid/AWD.
