Yeah...it's not a real truck blah, blah. I didn't want the size, mpg, or ride quality of a full-size "real" truck. Fits what I need perfectly and love the trunk storage.

Seriously though, I would think Ford could modify a transit connect into a single cab long bed vehicle easier than modifying the bronco sport. It would still be fwd, unibody so not a truck!
How bitchin is that thing ? Cool Perfect !

When hauling 4 full sized bikes in my shortbox Colorado. I've upgraded to an extended hitch bar so haul 2 in the bed now with the tailgate down. Two bikes forward in the 6x10 enclosed, and one backward plus now 2 in the bed!

I drive a stupid expensive RAM and I miss my extra-cab '93 Toyo with the 22r and a 5 speed every day.

I drove a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4X4 Crew Cab for the past 10 years, and decided a couple of years ago that I needed to step it down. Back in the day, I had an ’88 Nissan King Cab and loved it. Stepped up to a Crew Cab 4X4 Frontier SE in 2002, and then the GMC in 2010. On 12/31/20, I took advantage of the year end specials and got another Frontier Crew Cab 4X4, and couldn’t be happier with the decision. The big truck was cool, but the Nissan is so much more practical, and honestly, I haven’t missed the full sized truck at all. So yeah, I’m agreeing with all of you “less is more” guys here!

How do these hold up? Been eyeing them a while but they're all pretty high mileage now seems like. Pretty trouble free?

It's amazing. It took me 5 years to get it. He's one of my (Porsche) clients and he bought that truck because it started snowing while he was at work one day. He had it delivered to his office and then he barely drove it for the next 20 something years. I got it with 29k miles on it.

I’ve had a lot of trucks from Toyota to ram diesel and my 2012 frontier was my favorite. My wife has a 2015 xterra pro-4x that we bought new and I’ll never get rid of it the thing is awesome

It’s easy to tell that some of these trucks have never seen road salt.

If you get it with the 4.0 5speed, they are absolutely amazing. Especially if you get an early to mid 90s with the I-beam 4x4 🙂

Rule of thumb for Toyota’s and rangers: avoid the 3.0 at all costs.

Ford just announced a $22,000 hybrid unit-body truck. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but it will get 40MPG and can carry a bike. Tows a few thousand pounds, too.

Miss my '99 S-10 4 cyl. 5spd. ext. Cab like a fish misses water. Odometer LCD burned out at 305,000 miles. Drove the piss out of it for another 5 years. Had it a total of 17 years as a daily driver.

I have the 4.0 with 188,000 miles. Did the head gaskets one time and had to replace the thermostat housing which cracked violently. Other than that, this truck takes more abuse than it was designed for. I honesty go easy on it out in the desert but you never know when you're gonna find endless silt or a violent set of whoops.

Next daily will be a full size but I will NEVER sell this truck. Had Toyotas and Chevrolets. Still my favorite vehicle

Get a sweeter ride and tow a trailer when you need to go ride.
Had an 04 toyota landcruiser pulling an enclosed trailer as a moto rig for a long time. It was sweet ans comfy as hell but like maybe 8mpg on a good day lol. Wish i took more pictures back then.

mini trucks are gay

they dont get good gas mileage and they cant tow jack. they'd be cool if they had a diesel engine that had some toruqe but they are a waste of time

a late 90s f-150 is the best truck

When it come to late 90’s a square body Chevy is where it’s at. Nothing is more American than a small block Chevy.

That guy named his vital account after a Honda Civic engine.

Think about that for a second.
