Where are my Ford Ranger brethren?
‘89 2.9L V6 manual 4x4. Put a couple hundred thousand miles on it in early 90’s. Good pickup.

My first ever truck/car, I loved it for soooo many reasons , but having a full bench seat was a big bonus at 18 years old!Wink

I love seeing older threads come back to life!

I had to laugh about the “full length bench seat” as that reminded me of my 1979 Chevy Luv 4x4 that I had when I was 18, and my 17 year old girlfriend was my favorite uuuh “seat cover”! Haha

I need to find some a pic or two and post em up!

My boy's first trip to the track by himself a few weeks back, with his first truck.

That is amazing!!!! This post wins.

But for the record, I ordered a Maverick Hybrid XLT. $24k, 40+ mpg. Will haul a bike or two and if needed a small box trailer. Perfect for what I need. Just sold my Transit Van today.

I’m currently restoring my dads old 1989 pickup. He gave me the title for it a few weeks ago. So far, all I’ve done is replace all the windows minus the ones for the camper shell.

I have new Method MR309 wheels with Falken Wildpeak MT’s waiting to be installed along with an array of other parts.

First thing is first, I’m pulling the motor and replacing with a rebuilt one, greasing all contact points and replacing suspension components. Last, I’ll re-do the interior and paint.

That first Datsun ad cracked me up. When I was 16/17 my first truck was a red 1970 Datsun just like in the ad. We would fit three bikes and gear in the back, three motoheads in front and go to Indian Dunes for the day. Yeah, I'm old but still riding.

My very first vehicle was a two wheel drive 94 GMC Sierra stepside short bed standard cab, and it was basically a full size little truck. I miss that thing sometimes, it had a 350 and it ran awesome, but the bed was almost pointless. I'm bummed I don't have any pics of it.

This is what I picked up when I got back into moto almost 10 years ago and is very similar to the truck I was describing up above except this one was a manual with a V6.

Haven’t ridden it in a while. It’s not my fav locally. Spent today at woodland and it was good after the sun warmed it up and it broke in a bit.

Same here. I'll have to give woodland a go albeit it's always super crowded. What other tracks are open up here during the winter besides those two?

None in the Portland area. Everything else is clay. Eugene runs on occasion and way east in Richland or Boise they run weather permitting. Too damn wet here.

Woodland wasn’t too bad today. Reasonable size to the splits.

Thanks. It's too bad there are not more tracks around here. Territorial barely runs and Boise and Horn Rapids are way too far.

Full size for the legroom. Liked my Ranger, loved my Tacoma. But my Ram 1500 has the room for my broken and battered body to stretch out in. Otherwise I would still be in my Tacoma. It is perfect until it isn’t.

Because that’s a giant pain in the ass compared to having a larger truck. Yes it’s doable but it’s all what’s worth it to you.

Did you guys get the Ford P100 in the US??
They were super popular here in the UK but once disappeared were never replaced with a newer model.

The later model was based on the Ford Sierra saloon car. Some people went all out and fitted Cosworth engines in them- awesome!

It could have a million horsepower per litre and it would still be lame as fuck.
