Those shrouds are a tragedy waiting to happen.

The plastics aren’t too bad.. but the graphics and the exhaust make it look weird.

I don’t mind it, shrouds have a last gen 2st YZ look but I still think the 2016-2018 KTM/Husky’s were the best ever.

Due to covid the team designing the shrouds and the team designing the number plates had to teleconference, that’s why they are completely different dimensions where the two meet. Same reason for the number plates crossing over the frame (waiting to snag a boot) . The team designing the front fender had to be let go due to down sizing so it’s carry over.

Odd KTM would run the same front fender since the 2015.5 factory edition. Haven't seen a manufacturer keep any fender or number plate etc. for this many years with as a few model changes in between.

Only thing I’m not on board with is the orange seat.

It’s growing on me. They’ve done a ton of work to the frame in the foot peg area. Curious to hear what that is all about.

Maybe if vital talks enough shit they will change it. Remember when rockstar husky had that god awful yellow rear fender for like 2 races and got tired of people saying how ugly it was and just switched back to white.

Orange seat looks terrible. Bike will probably look more like this:

If they hire an entire TEAM to design the front plate and fender and another TEAM for various other plastics thats where they are going wrong,

Just get one designer give em the cad data for screw mount locations and let the brain develop it,

Literally could have gotten 6th graders to design a better looking shroud.

My 18 not only rides like a old base ball glove fits but I still think it’s the best looking.

VITAL: Whines for 10 years that Yamaha needs to update the looks of the YZ's. Yamaha releases updated plastic that looks worse than before - "Halleluiah!"

Also VITAL: KTM updates their bikes to look suspiciously like the updated YZ's. - "Looks like fuggin dog poop!"

wish the shroud graphics emphasized the lower “shark fin” aspect. it cuts it off and makes it dark blue, so you don’t really see the new design very well.

Yep... Love the 18 Huskies. My favourite looking bike since the 04 YZ and 05 RM series. Just such a nice shape, clean, modern, no weird angles and shit.

The bike will probably look fine once we’re used to it, as other people have mentioned.

The RedBull KTM graphics are pretty tacky to me tho. Too many colors IMO - red, yellow, blue, white, orange, green, black

Now that everybody knows what the KTMs will look like and IMOP it’s not that exciting (orange team seat is bad), I can’t wait to see the front of the Huskys. Looks are kinda important because I’m sure all Austrian bikes will work awesome.

Huh? They have one of the ugliest side panel designs ever... This pic above is of the better side.

You are the first person I've ever heard say anything negative about the '16-'18 Huskys. You sure you're not thinking of the '19?

That theory didn't work for me with the '19-22 Huskys. Terrible-looking bike. I'm intrigued by the spy photos of the 22.5 Husky, based on that pic in the thread. Regardless, looks are only part of it, as I'm sure the bikes will work great. But I don't love the 22.5 KTM looks so far (loved the 16-18 and 19-22 though) and hope the Husky looks better (16-18 were awesome, 19-22 not so much.)

Shitty pic, but here's the 2023 Husky.
