Rooting for Febvre the most even tho I think one of the others takes it.

Jeffrey Herlings is to MXGP to what Marc Marquez is to Motogp. If these two riders are fit and healthy then the other riders are merely scrapping over second place over a full season.

Unfortunately i feel Herlings will take this as much as I am a Gajser fan. Gajser i would compare to Steady Eddie Lawson from back in the day. Rarely was Eddie the fastest, however he was always up there and consistent hence he won numerous titles through solid pace and consistency.

I am hoping that all 3 are within a point going into the last race. Can you imagine the pace, the pressure and intensity of the last race. Shit - this has been great to watch and will be awesome for the next rounds!!

I hope Herlings wins it. Missed 3 motos and huge mental blow with dnf and lost hard worked points. Was weird to see how calm he was when he realised he is out off that moto. I want to see how fast he is next season without monkey on his back. 2 lost seasons with injuries..I hope we see clean racing from ALL riders and nothing stupid things from spectators in Mantova.

Herlings has been struggling these last few races. Seems he wants it so much he rides over his head.

If it was a hardpack track I would have said Febvre but beeing Mantova, I think Herlings can ride a bit under his limit and still win quite comfortably.

But he cant afford bad starts.

But who knows. Both Febvre, Herlings and Gajser are three legends at this point and has proven they all ride well under pressure and when its the most important.

As long as Gajser doesn’t win I’ll be happy. Call me a hater but Gajser is not the fastest on the track. He is consistent yes, but not fastest and I want someone who is the fastest to win. Gajser is a sick rider and I respect him, I just don’t like him.

Febvre is sick and I like him tbh don’t mind him winning.

The big thing about Herlings is he is not consistent and often outdoes himself by going too fast. I don’t care if he doesn’t have championships to back it up. He is fast af in terms of raw speed and is the fastest sand rider on the planet right now. He is a champ to me because of his speed and how he often rode with injuries. His raw skill is unmatched — although — his consistency sucks.
Watch the russian gp this year....and then tell me how fast (or slow) Tim is...

To be honest, we have not seen the Russia Tim Gajser since then.

Just a small detail, They are more or less the same age and one has 6 MotoGP titles and the other one MXGP title.

I'd like to see Febvre win it, but I think Herlings seals the deal!

Watching EMX250, didn’t realize Fantic was running their 250xx, and winning (#21). How is this bike different from the 22YZ250? Same body work/plastics?

I want Herlings to get it, but I just have a gut feeling that Gajser is going to.

Herlings has the advantage, with a sizeable part of the field on either KTM, Husky or Gas Gas.
Convince me otherwise, heavy Team Tactics are NOT going to play into the last 2 Rounds.

Prado Holeshots, let’s 84 “Broc” bye, and roadblocks both Gasjer and Febvre….
Cairoli does his part too.

May the best man win, what a series it has been!

It’s Herlings to loose. Nobody on the track can match his speed, so of he dont go 1-1 on wendesday, it’s on him.

Fantic plastics, Get ECU and motor tuned by Fantic team. Those 2-stroke Factory Fantic bikes are fast.

It’s gonna be an epic end between Febvre and Herlings for the title, I don’t see Gajser making up that many points in a single GP or both guys need to crack under pressure..

Did Febvre played his cards to early with the start games? Nothing wrong with it but it decently got a fire lighting up inside Herlings . That something you not wanna have.

Speedwise im going with Herlings. He was on another level today, but he keeps making mistakes time after time.

So if Herlings wins first moto and Febvre is second they’ll be tied going into the last moto of the season.

Has that ever happened in any other motorsport championship?

I think in 1988 Jean Michel Bayle and Dave Strijbos started the last manche tied in points in the 125cc championship.
Strijbos started the GP with a 7 points lead but fell at the start of moto1 and finished 4th, tying JMB on points before the start of the last moto. They finished 1 & 2 in moto2, with Bayle winning the title.

Malin coment that and said in mxgp race that Thorpe, Geboers and Malherbe hunt in the championship was the last time 3 riders were fighting until last round too.

It actually was a 4-way battle in 1986 up till the last GP.
Dave Thorpe was leading the championship and Jobe in 4th was 20 points down before the final GP. A moto win was 20 points back then.
Geboers and Malherbe were just a few points back on Thorpe before the final GP.

Crazy to think that you had 3 guys from the same factory team 1, 2 and 3 before the final GP.
And also tough for the Belgian fans, 3 riders from your country so close to a title but Thorpe took it.

Just a couple of weeks ago Billy Bolt and Mani Lettenbichler were actually tied on points AFTER the final round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.

The tie break was whoever had the most race wins but they were tied on that too! Bolt took it by virtue of having one more second place race finish than Mani.

That's what you call close.

Honestly, it's very likely that this happens unless one of them has a bad moto or Gajser is much better than yesterday
Second moto will be awesome
