I was at the Vurb Classic over the weekend and we were all treated to CR22 lining up in the 30+ class. I'm curious if anyone knows what kind of support he gets from KTM? His bike sounded unlike any other bike on the track, super deep and throaty. Also, the WP suspension looked like it had his bike glued to the ground. I know, its Chad Reed riding it and he could make anything look great but this bike was just different.
I’m one year away from +30 and I think it would be cool to get smoked by Reed.
Who know about the motor, maybe Chad is is using MRPro6 and an aftermarket ECU, it makes a 450 motor sound different.

Must love cool things like the rest of us, really want a fmf for my 450, not cause i need it, but it looks and sounds so good, lol.
I’ll protest him and let you guys know what I find out.
But not many people at the track can do it.
I’ve done a few races and want to get in better shape to do more.
Pit Row
U4.4 is $20 a gallon and MRPRO6 is like $190 for 5 gallons aka $38 a gallon.

Here are the empties from the fuel we used in over just 2 weeks for one pro rider and two nationals. (plus the rider drank some of it).
I threw away one empty MR pro 6 can at hangtown, there were five.
He would use five gallons a day for both the race and practice days.
Toward the end I substituted T-4 for practice days without telling him because it was getting so damn expensive. This is roughly about 1400.00 in fuel right here.
My exact thoughts. It's weird how much different a 450 sounds with a national caliper pro on it. Sounds like it's under a big load the whole time.
