Comes through. I needed a top subframe piece for a Husky and got an OE seat for less than the price of a cover and foam and they were both in stock. I ordered Wednesday night and had them on my porch Saturday morning. I must be living in a zone that works for shipping.

Your spot on that you are in a zone that works for buying from RMATV. Was a loyal customer for past 10 years and spent over $20,000 with them. Everything came in 3 days. Unfortunately they only ship fedex to my area. FedEx 3 day is now 13-16 days because everything sits in Chicago for 7-10 days. Oh well we had a good run and there are other options for the same price and still 3 day delivery. Even went to a dealership for the 1st time in years and ordered Oem parts. They had them in 2 days and the price was only $4 more than rmatv.

FedEx sucks. Can’t stand them.

Rmatv has been stellar for 20 years …
This plandemic has definitely put a chink in their armor
Shipping is not as reliable and staffing issues have been exposed with some minor “issues” I’ve experienced as of late . …
Although they have been resolved , not without alot of time spent on the phone and much delay . Not game changing , but just enough to keep customers waiting longer than I’d like to . We have good customers so that helps .

And Fedex is gonna get WAY worse during peak. If you want it by Xmas you better ship it by Halloween. Pinch

You are correct but RMATV chooses to use fedex exclusively so in the end its on them. Amazon kicks their ass on most mx items. Other online retailers use UPS and deliver on time. It’s all on RMATV to drop fedex.

Not exclusive on FedEx. I got an order this week USPS.

That is only on small items that for me ship from Utah so 7-10 days. RMATV will only ship fedex for tires, helmets, etc. Actually anything RMATV ships to me via usps from Utah arrives 7 days earlier than from Kentucky even though its 1000+ miles further away. They need to eliminate fedex.

I don’t care for FedEx either, but I get 1-2 days from Ky and 3-4 from Utah. I’m in Tn.

Yes is all depends on your location now. If your order goes fedex through Chicago its 2 weeks from RMATV and they will not let you pay extra to ship UPS.

Placed 6 orders with RMATV over the last 3-4 months. 3 business day (free) delivery for 5 of them. Had 1 of them get hung up in SLC for 3 days and it ended up being 6 business days to deliver. Not the end of the world for me, though.

I did have to return a jacket because I bought a size too big. They only had 1 left of the smaller size, and they held it until my return got there in 4 days so I was pretty pleased with that.

I ordere a tire Monday morning and it was at my door by Tuesday. I live in Chicagoland.

Zero issues in the FedEx shipping times for me (So Cal). Sometimes it’s 2 days on my doorstep.
I’d be kinda frustrated if FedEx was stalling my stuff too, so I can understand that.
Rocky Mountain has become my go to, for the stuff I don’t have connections for.

I was getting RMATV orders through On Trac which a lot of people hated but I never had any hang ups with them. This last order was FedEx so I guess that is good news.
I ordered some stuff from Uline that came next day through UPS.
Interesting times.

My ULine orders are always next day also, but their prices are outrageous (comparatively) and they seem to have distribution centers all over the place.

I only really order from them when it’s a small order or my regular vendors have delays, though.

I had a Grainger order a few weeks ago that ended up being shipped from 4 different distribution centers to fill the whole thing. All arrived relatively quick, but it was a mess for our receiving clerk. At least 5 items had quantities that arrived in 3 different shipments (example: 12 from of Part A, 3 from location A, 2 from location B, 7 from location C). I guess it’s sort of great that their fulfillment software can do that sort of thing, though!

FedEx in Portland is a shit show. Several of my recent orders (various retailers) have spent a week+ “in transit” from the troutdale distro warehouse. 2-3 weeks to get to me from SoCal. Ridiculous.

Ya know, I haven't had ANY delivery problems with RMATVMC...ever.

Recently got a set of their Tusk DSport Adventure tires for my ADV bike: AMAZING tires! I say this in an "off-road sense". On-road they're fine...but, they're DIRT oriented tires. PERIOD. They REALLY did their homework on these tires.

The price should embarrass all the "big brands", too.

Been a shit show for me. I wont order from them anymore as they only do fedex on east coast. They do usps on small items if you pay for it. I would gladly pay whatever it is to use ups but they wont do it. Fedex ground is contractors thats the root of the problem. i have a biz and we have been waiting 30-60 days for fedex packages. Some never arrive. they have ceased to function in our area.

This is a mess. We ship quite a bit of product to Australia and New Zealand and USPS First Class is the only economical choice. USPS suspended service to 22 countries, if you follow the link you supplied you can see the list. Not sure how Australia and New Zealand ended up with that crowd.

Damn

That SUCKS.

You'd think they'd find a way to resolve this: I can't believe that haven't tried USPS or others? I know you and you're no fool. Bummed that they haven't figured this out.

The beauty of Rocky Mountain is that i don't have to have extra shit in my personal inventory in case i break something. Back in the day we would have to buy extra parts that we would or wouldn't use. I keep my personal inventory lower because i know i can get the stuff in a couple of days. Good stuff!!!!!

RMATV is fully aware they are losing customers due their own policy of fedex only and they dgaf. I know how Blake Baggett feels now. The bigger they are the harder they fall.

FedEx is pretty good here. I use them frequently for work. Problem is, the quality of services are very regional, and the businesses like RMATVMC using these delivery services need to implement a method of allowing their customers to create a blacklist for the delivery services that suck in their area. We Just don't have the technology yet.

It’s obvious there are specific states that fedex does not work for. Wisconsin is 10 days via fedex 3 states away. The question is why RMATV will not allow customers to select alternative shipping options for these pockets of fedex black holes?
10/4/2021 9:52pm
On-trac delivers my RM orders, has for years now. Just had a package show up Friday from RM via On-trac. They don’t track the package well but if i order on Sunday or Monday I always have it by the weekend.

I just ordered some parts yesterday. Some shipped via OnTrac, some of it shipped Fedex. We will see which gets here first. I got OnTrac for the win.
