Am I seeing things or did I see Nico Izzi 341 250A in qualifying? I saw he was 31 best time and then nothing. The qualifying didn’t show anything but it was on peacock. Strange.

Wouldn't be surprised. Bummer the turn his life took after that crash. I always liked Izzi with his volcom helmets and gear setups. Wish things would have turned out differently for him. Wishing him and his family well.

It may not have been a choice. The AMA usually assign the numbers, but you can ask for a number if it’s not already given to someone.

Listening to the Matthes/Weigandt/JT$ wrap-up pod, Weege pretty much admits this was not an AMA problem but more likely a broadcaster database problem. No one had ran 341 since Izzi, so when the AMA database was input to the broadcast database it must have overwritten with the old info or something to that effect.

This theory should have also meant that at the first session of the year Jett should have been shown as Millsaps, or Ferrandis shown as Seely, or any other number change....so who really knows??

It’s true. I’ve seen a lot of it here in the past too, people making excuses for him and defending him. I have some connections to people he has absolutely fucked over while they were trying to help him. They’re going to be fine because they’re great people, but he will never get any sympathy from me. However he got to this point he’s an absolute piece of shit that had every opportunity to turn it around and he has ruined every one of them himself.

Everyone screws up and makes mistakes. Unfortunately, some make bigger mistakes than others.

The world would be a much better place if people started showing one another just a little bit of grace. People should have to pay for their mistakes. Don't get me wrong. But we don't have to be so hateful, either.

You're quite a humanitarian. I'm glad more people don't think like you. Coming up on 4yrs clean. Went from being almost homeless to having just bought a house. If I can turn my life around anyone can. But hey I should have got a bullet right?
