Listening to this weeks pulp with DV , the segment whilst Anton is on the phone they are talking about silly season. Now, the Osborne retiring rumour sounds like it's pretty legit, and they spoke about his replacement and DV and Mathes both hinted they knew who the replacement was but didn't care to name the rider and moved off the subject very quickly... so, anyone have an idea who this rider will be? Euro? 250 rider moving up?

They're probably talking Malcolm Stewart and just didn't want to say it point blank given that although people have known for a while, I don't think it was officially stated yet given how early it is?

I'd love to be wrong though, I'm all for change ups.

Makes sense I guess, what with KTM having two seats filled. Hopefully a change does him good, even if it's just a pretty small side step to Husky.

They included Malcolm. That's pretty much known as a done deal. They are trying to figure out who the other two riders are. Possible Deano because he is a top 10 guy, has a great following and you have to admit he is a team player.

Musquin
Stewart
Wilson

Good choices if they're legit. Lots of talent and experience.

It's either or.

British/Australian is 'spelt'.

spelt
[spelt]
VERB
BRITISH
past and past participle of spell.

I think when Osborne retires he won’t really retire. I have a feeling he’ll go the Ryan Sipes route and be entering all sorts of two wheel events. At least I hope so anyway. Great guy down to earth guy that just loves riding his motorcycle.

Sucks for Zach if true about retiring. Never got a legit shot to defend his title. Back injuries suck

I don’t know, his back is not in good shape. He has Spina bifida and a degenerating & herniated disc.

He mentioned it in an interview on July 27th and says surgery is complicated and sketchy due to his Spina bifida occulta.

Team/coaching role. He’s already slid into that this year.

I can see Musquin staying where he is since 2011, and Plessinger eventually going to Husky.

I was concerned his back issues were worse than he was letting on. Kind of sucks to go out that way. Got that championship though.

If they are keeping a secret, I don't think it's come out here yet. Sound like a Euro secret.
IMO Husky needs a youth movement. RJ would be a good choice, he's over riding the 250 anyways.

I wonder if all of the KTM umbrella riders are interchangeable? Like if Zacho left, they slide AP into the Husky team. I would bet it's either AP or the Moose that will be there

I like DV and I definitely like my beer, but he sounded so sloshed on Pulp that it was a distraction.

Yeah, but he'll get to ride off into the sunset, with a nice family and a buttload of money.

Besides, I don't think he'd be beating Ferrandis and Roczen at the moment.

Is RJ over riding the 250 or is he overriding the 250? Hahaha

(Not a dig on RJ, he's a beast on that 250 and I've said on record that when he is on this year he is the fastest 250 racer in the world)
