I've heard some things but none of it substantiated. Mostly just industry rumor which is notoriously unreliable.

Bring back the yellow

It only seems to comeback around on years ending in "6"...06, 16 etc, for the anniversary year. So probably 2026 you can get one lol.

PR is coming soon. You'll have to let us know if what you heard is accurate. I'll stand my my comment that the first part of you original post is true that they have something up their sleeve.

Counting the days when nobody wants black rims anymore, because they are played out and boring

One of my favorite pc on the stock yamaha are the blue rims they look great!

I always thought the factory Yamaha's with silver wheels were sweet.

I agree. I certainly feel the blue rims look good on my bike, but I am biased. I can't wait to see what the new generation Yamaha will be!

Silver wheels look cheap, old school, & outdated. You're telling me you want to see a new 22' Crf or Kx with silver wheels? The only reason I can stand behind not having black/blue wheels is they scratch and look crappy but that's why you buy a new bike every few years Wink

Yep, I always wanted to do a sweet yz125 and make it look like an 05 factory bike with blue/white snd silver wheels.

Yes, they took a great bike and made it look like a K-Mart special. Nobody keeps the silver rims, not even their paid team riders.

If there is something new and significant coming, Yamaha will probably announce a global Facebook live model release about a week before the event

I dig the blue rims. They look trick, but they don't get hammered as bad as black ones.

I would dig red rims on a Honda, green on Kawi, gold on Suzuki, orange on KTM. Most people under 40 are not a fan of silver / chrome, on our bikes or trucks.

Thanks! I try and keep clean looks on bikes emphasizing the main color of each. That Fox Castr set I got from you should look good against the blue!

It has been confirmed to me: new 85, 125 2T, 250 2T and 450F. 250F will remain the same, as well as 65. Hopefully my source is not lying (dealer). The release is expected to be next week.

Seems too good to be true. Looking forward to next week.

It's June, so remember, it's not a '22 anything, if it's already produced and in dealerships. It's a '21. It's not from the future!

That would be wild. As far as the 4 strokes, the '21 250F was almost all-new, so I can't see it getting changed. The 450F would be due but considering none of the other 450s got any real update, they don't lose anything by going 1 more year with the same bike. So putting that money into new 2strokes would be the right move, if they could do it. I really hope so.

I'm about 10% confident the new YZ rumors are true, and I will be 100% disappointed if they turn out to be only rumors.
