Anyone have any info if America's Motocross Track has any changes in store to the layout this coming weekend big or small? I can't wait to get there Saturday and watch the next chapter in what has started out as the best season in years Smile

Every year I think these tracks should have to re do the layouts. Keep the popular sections but man these tracks are getting monotonous.

Big disagree from me. They change the supercross tracks every week and every year and they rarely ever come up with a good layout. And when they do, they seemingly never use it again.

These motocross tracks are some of the best in the country/world and no need to f it up.

The area where the track is has been getting heavy rain for the last week, and suppose to rain every day leading up to Saturday. Flash flood warnings for the area and more rain coming. They will have something for Saturday's race. Could be a total mess like the MX of Nations several years ago?

Would be nice if they changed the valley section after the start back to a retro '90s with the double double heading up the hill

I live 30mins from the track in south bend. Yes the area has been hammered with rain the past few days, but the weather today has been sunny with a couple small showers popping up. If the rest of the week is like today the track will be mint.

The Weather Channel has been making it sound worse. I sure hope it is good, I want to race Friday. Thanks for the heads up!

Broke both my feet on the second set in '98. Supper muddy in morning practice.

No changes to the track but Larocco's leap has been renamed The Coldenhoff Express.

High point followed that line of thinking, and in my opinion that track is worse with no Bradshaw BLVD, uphill triple.

Terrible idea bro, 0/10

Ya, fuck off with that bro. If you arm wrestle Larocco and win, you can name it whatever you want

Alright Johnny, I'll be your huckleberry Wink I wasn't totally thrilled with the High Point changes a couple years back but they seem to have the place fine tuned now. It was really awesome on TV imho. Even Red Bud has experimented with incremental changes over the years and I think as long as they don't get rid of some of the classic sections it isn't a bad idea to freshen up the layout from time to time. Sometimes its a home run and sometimes not so much but I still like seeing a few changes.

I announced the LL regionals there two weeks ago and nothing had been changed and no talk of any track changes for the national.
Thursday open practice, Friday day on big track, Fri night on stadium track, Pro nat Sat, then Sat night again on stadium track and then Sunday is Pro-am racing on the big track with the Pro loop which is the same exact track as the Pros raced on Saturday.
Expect a massive crowd, tons of vendors, tons of entries and more.
Book your camping now, this one is going to be epic!
Can I get a Red Buuuuud?

I really like how Red Bud moved the gate for MXdN and the first three turns are awesome now. Some tracks are damn near perfect, like Millville which I don't think should change ever (minor tweaks are cool)

I'm not in love with the gate move because I think the old start was way more even and really produced some great cross over passes in the right hander after the long arcing left leading up to it. I'm sure things are staying put relative to the gate for a long time though because it isn't a small job to move it.

We've been getting soaked over here. Maybe they could not bring in some more sand...

I miss the black dirt turn, last time I remember it was 07. I think they shortened the track for TV after that.

There has been a fair amount of rain, but not more than the nations the other year I'd say and its summer so its hotter. The main thing will be the parking, pretty sure some people are still buried in there from the nations!

I stayed around for an extra 2-3 hours helping people get out... Not sure what I was thinking.
