Also, Forkner is way too high at #4 given that he hasn't raced an outdoor since 2018. And that season was not exceptional except for High Point. In fact his best outdoor season was his rookie year way back in 2016.

Swap Forkner (never hear of her) for Hunter Lawrence.
But yeah, 250 outdoors is deep and the first laps of those early season motos are usually the best and craziest races.
The Forkner/lawerence swap is solid but they both seem to end up on the ground same as smith. Is smith lining up outdoors i haven't seen anything yet?
Masterpool he is just a favorite, big fan of the kid and he has crazy speed if he can stay up, Then he is top 10 all day.
But heres the updated.

Always hard to weigh speed vs consistency and experience, but in most cases I tend to value the guys who are proven and/or consistent in 250 outdoors.
Hope he comes out swinging

Don't know enough about the other guys to rank them. If Forkner stays upright, I think he could do better than 6th. But with his inconsistency, it's hard to rank him above the Star Yamaha and Honda boys who I know will definitely be really good. And for the record, I had a hard time making this list and I believe that 9 out of the top 10 guys have a legitimate shot at finishing in the top 5 in the points standings at the end of the year. Heck, Hampshire, A Mart, Mosiman, Thrasher, and Masterpool are the only guys whom I would be surprised if they finished top 5. I don't know anything about Thrasher's outdoor speed though, so I could be totally wrong.
Shimoda got on the podium in outdoors last year.. so why is he so far down hahaha it doesn't make sense
*My personal bias would be to switch Forkner and Shimoda as well, but Forkner has a history of better results (when he keeps it on 2 wheels).
After his SX showing I've got this feeling that he might have a break out season if he keeps it upright.
#2 Honda
#3 Kawi
#4-6 3 different KTMs
# Last- Suzuki
Pit Row
Hunter is one of the favourites in my mind.
