I think RC was WAAAAY BETTER working with Daniel and I’d be happy to see how they “gel” over time.

blair needs to take over the booth and be the man.
There's no option to lock the thread.

As for Blair, the only way to try and make it happen is to Email, Tweet, Facebook, Instagram, etc. NBC/NBCSN our support of Blair.

Only takes a few minutes to do. If they receive enough messages, things might finally change.

You’d think it wouldn’t be that hard.
One of the worst moderated and no forum etiquette for sure.

Have a quick skim, post in the already existing topic. Might be troublesome for some I guess.

If you THINK you need to hit the new topic button just so people read your opinion, then no one gives a shit about it anyway.

DB was exactly what the TV broadcast needed. He actually calls the race. His commentary with RC was way smoother than anything in the last few years. Hopefully he gets the job. I actually enjoyed the broadcast tonight for the first time since Fro left.

Between him and the tech inputs from J-bone tbat was easily the most satisfying broadcast from a real fan’s perspective in god knows how long... and not a red Honda or Rutledge hot take in sight.

Give the fans what they want.

Blair and Jbone made that the best Supercross broadcast since the Eckman/Despain years. Replace RC with DV and it would be perfection.

Mods need the ability to merge threads when people are too lazy to look for a similar thread.

Blair did a great job. I still miss Fro in the booth to be perfectly honest.

Love Db, he’s doing great, but I gotta wonder what the fuck did Weege do to the powers that be.
IMO DB is much better than Weege. Weege is eccentric, DB seems to be just a tad more professional and play towards that. But maybe I think that b/c I listen to all the pods. But I do believe listening to DB seems more real rather than listening to Weege who seems to play it up and act a bit. Love both though, they are tremendous assets to us at home who enjoy everything we can about the moto world.

I would love to hear DV calling riders out mid broadcast

I agree, I'm probably the odd guy out with this take but DB's voice doesn't have a whole lot of excitement IMO. Weege's voice is much more dynamic, creating excitement with out the fake hype feeling that other guys have to do to try and get the same effect.

i think weege is the standard actually. But obviously he doesn't want to do Supercross or powers that be don't want him. DB is good tho...and extremely better than anybody they've had in there in the last 10 years. Very comfortable...keeps the insight rolling without odd deadspace....very comfortable like he was meant to be there. Now if you could put weege and DB in there together. we'd have something. DB has the riding background, weege has the knowledge.

That... Would be awesome. I really like Grant and Weege and can't wait for outdoors.

RC just stumbles and bumbles too much. I mean for being the GOAT on a dirt bike he does not offer much. It would be better if he could just be himself. He’s trying to come off as this intellectual commentator and that’s just not him. Instead of possibly playing to his strengths, he’s just trying to be what he thinks a commentator should be. Suit coat and all. That’s not RC. it’s not natural in any way. He’s commentary feels forced rather then organic and natural flowing.

It’s been like that ever since he’s been in the booth. Doesn’t matter who you pair him with.

Blair and Windham would be a much better and natural pairing.

You don't like thread titles like "Ya Think..."

You make some good points, but the main thing is RC is not mailing it in. He's regressed (in some areas) based on some of your exact observations, but overall he's much better and will continue to improve. I like his input (albeit w/flawed delivery sometimes.) Think about it, he's worked with 4 different play by play announcers in the last 9 months!

I can see (hope) the Blair / Carmichael team having continued success and if Saturday was any indication, we're in for a good broadcast for many years to come.
