It was just a screenshot of the AJE team post. Is that against the guidelines?

Did you quote someone else? If a quoted post gets deleted, yours goes with it.

The line A Ray took to pass Clason in the 450 LCQ was the same as Marchbanks and McAdoo.... Wonder if A Ray is still out of control since no one fell?

Laughing Is A Ray out of control? That's the question?

......seriously though, his pass on Clason was pretty sweet.

If I was Macadoo I would try to cut Marchbanks in half the next race. Aim for the leg and don’t let off.

Yeah he’s been underwhelming on a bike that looks very competitive. His agent blew it but he’s also a moron.

McAdoo cleaned out Ferrandis at one of the supercross races last year and everyone cheered for Mcadoo. Marchbanks does the same thing and everyone loses their minds and hate Marchbanks. Funny how things go sometimes.

It could have been any PC rider. If Hammaker was going for the title he would have done the same thing to him. Marchbanks was just ensuring PC didn’t get the title. It was a dumb move but also as just a fan...thought it was hilarious. Their daily lives and how much money they do or don’t make has no effect on me. Some of you acting like you want to straight commit murder on Marchbanks is hilarious also. Dont you have your own life to live? Mcacrash doesn’t need you to defend him

From Racer X:

Club MX ATLANTA 3
THE HIGHS AND LOWS OF SUPERCROSS

The main topic for the team tonight was the Marchbanks/McAdoo crash and although it was not good for either rider , he was not intending for either of them to hit the ground.

Speaking to Marchbanks this morning, he said, “I felt very good in qualifying, and running upfront in my heat race with the leader. As we got off to the first main, another red flag restart and more crashing is something no rider wants to be a part of. I found myself in the back on the restart and was trying to work my way forward, very frustrated with myself. The 31 was riding erratically all night and at that point in the race he was next on the track to pass. I fully intended to make an aggressive pass and get away quickly, not wanting to ride near him. I thought I was closer than I was after I landed the double. I wanted to get under him and stand him up in the bowl turn, then be clear of him before we got to the next section. That clearly didn’t work. I miscalculated my angle, then pushed the front tire all while having no chance of pulling it off. What a mess. I’m disappointed and sorry that it happened. I take full responsibility for the incident and should not have allowed my emotions to get the best of me. I should have just waited until we got to the next section to pass even though it was one line for the majority of the following lap. I have gone the whole season fighting at the front with no issues and I feel like people know I’m a clean racer. Yes, I have a lot to prove and I think I’ve done that all year but it’s never been at someone else’s expense – that’s not how I ride and time will show that as I continue to improve my race craft and decision making.”

Team Owner Brandon Haas followed up the conversation with, “We’ve had conversations as a team all season about our goals and aspirations. We talk about integrity, hard work and commitment. We also talk about our brand and the public perception of it. Garrett’s move on McAdoo was a poor choice and we will make sure he learns from this. He’s an aggressive racer and wants to be at the front. If people think he has something to prove with the PC team, that is simply not the case - that was done and over with at round one. Even though we continue to hear on the broadcast that Garrett has a “chip on his shoulder” or that he has a vendetta in mind that is simply not true. It makes for good TV but the fact remains that he is happier at ClubMX than any of his past teams and his results will show that. We have a goal to stay healthy and get a full year under his belt, even if that means not winning races. We have remained healthy and consistent, which was our primary goal and the McAdoo case was simply poor judgement. We will learn from this to help Garrett grow and mature.

"People may think that ClubMX is just a stepping stone until he can return to a factory team – also not true," said Haas. "In early April, Garrett re-signed a long-term contract to ride for us well into the future. There are dramatic moments in the sport that get everyone’s attention, and as a team we work together with all of our athletes and personnel to learn and improve from these experiences. We are not buying results; we are building these guys up on and off the bike. The burdens that come with that I'll happily accept regardless of what anyone has to say about Garrett or ClubMX. He’s sorry that it happened the way it did, we’re all sorry. We never want to disrupt someone’s bid for a championship – that’s not how we operate."

I understand Marchbanks perception now but it seemed like he just cleaned him out, It didn't look like he was trying to stand him up.

The apologies were a good move and needed, but at the same time both Club MX and Garrett are in damage control mode. It was an image damaging move for both. I still think the takeout was intentional, but what is Garrett going to say?...yeah, I wanted to break the guy's leg. He isn't Bob Hannah after all. That generation of honesty is long gone. Yes, I'm old - OK boomer :-).

So it's Marchbank's goal to stay on ClubMX level team? Well I guess mission accomplished...

"He's a &^%$"

Blah Blah Blah

Yes, it was a bonehead move and not cool at all. I am not sure if something led to it from Mcadoo, but not OK regardless. Now.....let's move onto next week and not crucify the guy. Every week it has to be someone so many of you want to complain about.....we are having an amazing season to witness and these "villains" are part of it.
Idk if you've ever been the guy that actually cuts the checks before... but if so, you would know a move like that, which cost him a load of points, and at least a couple spots n the season standings, while possibly hurting himself and others, in the middle of a race, racing for 15th, makes it Really hard for the next team to want to write his name on a paycheck.... no, his career is not over, but it took one hell of a hit.... and this is a dude already on his way out... if he wonders why he doesn't have a ride next season, it is 100% his fault, nobody else's

It would be more believable to me if it wasn't Marchbanks that stood McAdoo up in the second turn of the restart the race before. Go back and look at it. McAdoo would have left the 2nd turn in 1st if Marchbanks wouldn't have blatantly taken him high in the berm. Instead he left in 4th or 5th from memory. Then the next week he throws a bonsai pass, a sure attempt to take him out. The press release is nice and has some pretty good excuses in it but I'm not buying it. He took him out on purpose plain and simple. To bad he doesn't have the balls to admit it. Instead he has some bs press release full of excuses and down talking the rider he took out. What a phony.

I just haven’t heard great things about Marchbanks in general so when something like this happens, it’s seems to fit what I’ve heard. Obviously I don’t know the guy, but maybe he should pay more attention to his public perception, particularly if he wants to get back in a factory team some day.

Never gonna happen. The situation at PC let any factory team know not to hire that kid and his dad.

I think it would have been better if Marchibanks said he was sorry, a bonehead move and moved on. Instead he had to mention Mcadoo was ridding erratically. Well Dam son, WTF would you call how you rode?

I agree. He totally tried to back pedal the situation to make himself not look as bad.

No way was that a "miscalculated" move.

Again, not standing up for Marchbanks. It would be very interesting knowing how many of us, that actually race around others our speed, have made a mistake going wide, hitting someone or whatever. Afterwards realized we cut it too close or even had it had happen to us. I know I have done a couple bonehead moves and in turn have received a few at other times. I will admit that there are a few guys I race with that are not on my top 100 list. This is from a 60+ guy and don't remember how competitive I was 40 years ago.

Social media is truly going to be the downfall of society
Going to be? It already is...not to mention the guy in this thread that was upset that Marchbanks blocked him for calling him names on insta...he couldn’t fathom that his posts caused him to get blocked...he actually thought that Marchbanks was a douche for doing so....
