I think the point is, that on the Husky he was running 5th until the engine started dying, by far his best that year, and in the Daytona mudder, he was winning by about half a lap until two turns from the finish.
Seems to imply he’s good in the mud, no?

Serious question (paging DC) - Could the powers that be such as AMA Pro Racing or Feld, make the call to cover the track and have a 'rain delay', then race on Sunday???

OR, are all of the snowflakes just bitching about this, and the riders should just race it like the true gritty sport that it should be and always has been?!?! Woohoo

I’ll play devils advocate. Current forecast shows 3/4” of rain, and it’s gonna take all day to do that. I don’t believe we will have a full blown mudder. I’m looking forward to a nice rutty track.

That's Walt Disney World. Did you know it's a Federal No-Fly Zone? Yup, why you never see a plane (or rarely) while in Magic Kingdom or on the grounds

The yellow fanning no-fly is restricted space for NASA/SpaceX launches

It's Florida, anything could happen. Gators could come from Lake Lloyd and eat Cooper Webb.....it's Florida

Who knows

As for the rain, IT WILL RAIN, just questions of how much , when and damage control.

Just waiting on it now. They're about an hour from the leading edge

The TFR (technically a "temporary" flight restriction, but it's in place since 9/11) only goes up to 3,000 ft. It doesn't do anything for security, but it keeps the tourist helicopters from circling the park, which is really why Disney lobbied for it to be made permanent.

Yeah, occasionally when I fly out of MCO we'll circle just short of the Magic Kingdom

Did you know Walt wanted nothing higher than 200' in order to not need a signal light?

Why some rides go below ground without your knowing or realizing it.
