I don't mind it, but don't put the same thing in both screen and don't leave one just black like we've seen this year.

Gotta have them. Last few years they always would cut away to follow some irrelevant riders back in the pack and we wouldn't get to see something important elsewhere in the race. Split screens are great. Gotta have them.

There is a time for them for sure. Maybe it's just my brain post injury, but I feel like they're trying way too hard this year with commentary/back and forth and it's kind of a lot. Wont ever happen but I'd love some quiet moments and just raw audio.

split screen idea is good but execution is bad, when they cut to split they need to put the leaderboard on top as a ticker tape and do a picture in picture split screen using the full screen.

They are great if the producers use them properly. I think if anyone is within 2s of the leader, they should always be on spit if you want to show another battle. The is something happens, they should have a button to instantly swap back to having the leader on main screen.

I wish they would use them for all replays, I get tired of them going away from the racing action to show replays full screen (like the start replay).

Needed in my opinion. Hard to watch on a phone yeah but it’s aggravating when there’s a lead change and we’re watching a battle for 7th.

I think they could be a lot better.
When they have them, I think they could have the small screen in the main screen be without the huge blue border. It makes the small screen tiny on my 55".
Then they choose to opt out of the split screen when there is a great battle behind the leader and choose to zoom in on the solo leader.

That was a main event where i wouldve liked footage on 1st place the whole time. Split screen with the battle for other positions in the smaller box wouldve been fine at times.

Way over used. My 70 inch TV turns into a 24 and 18 inch with a 12 inch bar on the side. Too much going on. Tonight they had split screen when there was a great battle and pass for the lead going on. It’s okay if used sparingly, but it’s excessive. And many times there is no battle and they leave it up.

I like in your face racing (close camera angles) and being able to hear the bikes... you don’t get that with split screen.

All in alk I thought the production and camera work tonight was some of the best we've seen. Kept it on the battles for the most part. I like the split screen as well.

I can read smaller print, even with my old man eyes, and even on a relatively small computer screen.

I'd like split screen more if I was watching at a movie theater size screen....lol.

Other than that, the image is too small to see anything worthwhile half the time.

Exactly.....abbreviate the last name to first 3 letters and just round the time to only show 1 decimal point, not 3.

There were more quiet moments in this broadcast than i ever heard.

But from a production point of view, they never want dead air, so that is why they sometimes sound like they are talking for the sake of it ... because they are.

Feel the same for race day live. We dont need 100% every second chatter. All I ask is don’t follow the same rider for six laps split screens cool keep one on the leaders and the other one back and forth on battles
