Sitting in the stands I can see it on Craigs bike but not Nichols. It’s pretty bright that’s gotta be annoying lol

Years ago there was a top fuel drag racer Gary Ormsby. His crew chief Lee Beard made some changes to the car. Lee put a blanket over the front 6 feet of the car. Everyone was fixated on what was under the blanket, to the point the competitors were claiming shenanigans with the NHRA officials.

Lee had changed the geometry at the back of the car. Diversion tactic successful. Maybe the light is a diversion and is just a light...
