Just spoke to a buddy who has spoken with Dean, crashed at some point this week. Hit a neutral on the face and looks like leg damage. I guess the prayers of all the haters this past week have been answered Sad not sure how severe the injury is but was told he won't be at indy.

Those false neutrals can be so dangerous. My 2019 KTM 350 occasionally does that between 3rd and 4th and 4th and 5th. I’ve just learned not to shift it right before the jumps. Hope Deans ok. He’s a good guy.

Bummed for Deano. I was hoping the crowd in Indy would give him a huge cheer during opening ceremonies, so he wouldn't continue to beat himself up over last weeks race. It was a mistake he owned up to, and I think the crowd would generally be supportive. Heal up Deano.

I thought they had those factory tranny's machined to where they won't go into neutral unless the bike is not moving? Maybe they need another button on the handlebars that you have to push in order to go into neutral. Sucks, that it happens to anybody.

I think a false neutral not the neutral between first and second gear. Like shifting second to third and hitting a false neutral. No buttons going to help that.

What’s the protocol at the races, I know they are supposed to get there early for covid testing on Thursday right? Not sure how it’ll all work out for Deano but I hope he’s able to line up Saturday.
