The bottom line is here is while Dean was clueless about being a road block, I don't believe he did it on purpose.

There are others that race in this class who would do it, but Wilson isn't one of them.

The two instances are quite different actually. Ken didn't jump through the whole section on the red cross. He jumped one small double at the beginning of the section then went single, single, single once he saw all the other riders not jumping. He also wasn't the only rider to get penalized for the exact same reason in the same section, for the same incident. Deano rode like a spode for 1.5 laps holding up the leader while 6 different flaggers waved blue flags so close, they damn near hit him in the dadgum eye. Ultimately he impacted the race result.

I can't believe I'm still posting in this thread....

Dean screwed up, he apologized, KR accepted the apology. They're over it. I'm long over it.

In the latest Swapmoto "How Was Your Weekend" segment Dean explains that he actually thought Kenny was Ferrandis, who had fallen and would have been behind him.

I believe Dean on this. He looked pretty ragged over the whole thing, and sounded very sincere. He's obviously been suffering over it.

No current rider or team member is going to say anything completely open, honest or unbiased, so if RC and Reed think there’s more to it, than there must be. I can’t imagine RC saying something risky like that if there wasn’t truth behind it.

I absolutely LOVE that sand track at MMX!!!! Its somewhat tame compared to all the track its literally surrounded by but its such a blast to ride!!! We rented the MMX sand track for my buddy's 40th bday a few years back.....no more than 10 of us on that sandy beast at any time throughout the day. They groomed it perfectly for us and even maintained the track, plus they had a guy dedicated to our group that came by every hour to check on us and make sure we were having the best time possible and he (MMX) even kept up on the track keeping it watered throughout the entire day.

That track for a 2 stroke guy like me was bliss!!

I had to go back and watch the last 5 minutes of the 450 main to pay more attention to where Dean was towards the end. All I will say is that there was ample warning from the blue flags in addition to plenty of opportunity for Dean to see who was coming. He wasn't in a race at the time vs anyone else. I believe he had plenty of lead to time to get the frick out of the way.

Why are you such a hater?!!! Kenny already accepted his apology. Dean is a great guy. Webb would have won anyways. Kenny was fading. It's his fault anyways for not getting around him.
