I would want to know Wilson's INTENT. Only the most ignorant fan could believe he intended of getting in the way of the leaders. But it's an interesting situation. Yes, without wilson there, would it have played out badly for #94 like it has typically when the other guy is Web? Dunno. Do you? Bone head move for sure and maybe lack of blue flags didn't help. Kenny was losing his shit (I been there) because #1 It was another "heartbreaker" with Web and #2 after Tues loss of 4 points, tonight he lost 3(4?) more. Can't wait for indy.

It was a 6 point swing in a tight championship race. The lap times for Dean sure make things look fishy. He dropped that last lap time by 5 seconds. Looks almost as if he slowed up in the main line to bunch things up to give Coop a shot at the W. I know that's sounds ludicrous. I'm just pointing out that the lap times sure make that plausible. Had Dean's lap time on the last lap not slowed down by 5 seconds, I would say it was just bone-headed but the lap times sure look bad for him making his case. Looks like he slowed up on the last lap while he was riding the main line. Just saying, it doesn't look good. Know way to know the true intent.

I didn't know about the laptime drop so that looks bad for wilson. Just don't see it in DW's character. And if that apology is not the real deal he is quite the actor. Right now I would have to go with "bonehead" move. But Dean is fit, so why the 5 second drop? Interesting for sure
For the record, I agree with you that's not in Dean's character. The whole situation is perplexing to be honest.

It was a bone head move but he owned it. What else can he do?

I don't think Dean would intentionally do that to Kenny.

If the AMA wasn't biased, they would treat all riders the same. Dean should be docked 5 points and receive a $5000. dollar fine like Chad Reed received in 2017. "Chad Reed has been docked five championship points and fined $5,000 after failing to acknowledge blue flags in St. Louis, the AMA announced on Monday." https://www.supercrosslive.com/news/reed-docked-points-fined-after-run-…
There were at least 3 blue flags shown to him on the track and Dean completely ignored them.

I hear you. It just doesn’t feel right when Dean ends his apology with “sucks to be that guy” like he’s the victim. Just a straight apology.
He is admitting that he made the mistake and accepting that he is that guy. No way is that playing the victim.

No one can say that if Wilson moved out of the way like he was supposed to when he was supposed to, that Webb would have caught Kenny. I want to believe Dean but man that was piss poor awareness of his position not to mention he did drop anchor at the end of the race. So if he isn't racing forward it makes it even worse. I feel bad for Kenny as he was going to exorcise the #2 from coming back to best him, finally. I'm glad to see Kenny pissed about it. He needs to put an end to these finishes and flat out go into beast mode. The dude was silky smooth tonight. Legit got robbed.

Damned straight! Hope KR lays him out! Not only did he keep my favorite rider from winning, he allowed the rider I dislike the most win! Open your eyes for them flags! Looked like KR94 hit DW15 rear wheel is the reason KR feet came off the pegs.
Sniff, sniff WAAA!

Instead of blaming the riders, the flaggers had to take their job more seriously. I really can understand riders are just to focussed or adrenalinaited to see everything around them. Flaggers had to do one job. Flagging.

-HE CLEARLY KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON BEHIND HIM

-That was why he did it

Trying to gain favor with Webb to get into the big boys club at Aldons?

(There is no way in hell a pro rider like him does not know exactly who is behind him, and probably the guy behind him as well - and both their placings)

I told my dog KR has it. Look at the laptimes. KR was cruising around with every round almost the same laptime. While CW's laptimes aren't stable. CW was doing everything to catch KR but couldn't get it done (without help).

Deano's lying if he reckons he couldn't see flags AND didn't know the leaders were there.

The video from the stands that was posted earlier shows the flaggers clearly showing him the blue flag, multiple times.

Dean's not that stupid.

Why didn't it occur to KR to not follow so closely a slower rider in a one lined section of track. Don't get me wrong, Wilson totally fucked the race up, maybe semi-intentionally, but KR should have moved two feet to the right heading into that turn. He might have lost some momentum in the turn but would have held off Webb that last lap 'cause Wilson was hogging the fast line while dropping anchor.

So you say one of the fastest sx riders wasn't able to lap a slower guy that additionally dropped his pace 5 more seconds?
Deano was obviously wrong, but this is just a case of lack of aggression, like Bottas in Formula1 or others, Webb was in the right position and attitude to capitalize on that.

95% of the blame goes to Wilson, what the fuck was he doing. But 5% on Roczen, i agree with you here.

Wrong line choice in the whoops and then i think he panicked after the whoops when he realized that Webb was right there and completely screwed up the section with the wall and the double-double (or triple-single).

Yeah poor Kenny ended up in a fucked either way situation or at least thought he was, his head was prob full of Wilson not getting out of his way instead of thinking of getting around him (kinda like Dunge and Reed) so it seemed like his head was spinning and maybe made a wrong decision.. That said he was put in that position by Wilson and he shouldn't have been.

Also those saying he did it on purpose are you really aware of what you're accusing him of??

This. I think everyone has been there where you get caught up behind a lapper and then your head just jams up and you mess something up.

With that said, it was obviously a massive blunder by Dean, but I don’t believe for a second it was intentional. Good for him to own it, you don’t always see that. He messed up and it sucked, but my opinion about him didn’t change because of this.
