Did anybody else see that? It was in the sand section during the first lap of 450 heat 1. It was crazy.

I was losing my mind over it and I think everyone thought I was crazy since they barely mentioned it on the broadcast and didn’t even do a replay. Inexcusable is right.

Yeah, I saw it.

I just listened to the ‘86 Anaheim Re-Raceable podcast and was dying of laughter when they were talking about the 30 second board guy dead sprinting off the track, barely dodging the riders zooming down the start. So that instantly reminded me of that imagery. 😂

It's not John Bodnar, the guy in the pic is too tall and has some hair. Tongue

I had that happen to me once at the start of a race - a mom of one of the riders thought it would be a good idea to cross right in front of 40 trophy crazed kids. - she got center punched by the rider right behind me...
