You sure you didn't just read about these "YZs" over on the MySpace?
MySpace? Is that on that newfangled info highway thing?

Well one thing is for sure, you’re certainly not helping to sell his services. Why come out swinging?

That’s funny. So can I. I used Tom Morgan. Great work, great service, nice guy, and to my knowledge, never the subject of one of these threads. These threads have popped up regarding Harris, Gorr, and Varner. Multiple disappointments, multiple shafted customers.

I don't need to talk to him in order to not want to do business with him.

He came on here and acted like an ass instead of being a professional about it.

Tip: Don't use the biggest MX forum to mouth off if you're in the industry. It's not a good look.

Varner and Harris could've used it to correct their matters, but instead they did the opposite. Not great for business.

When a person runs a business, they have to be professional. Mitch Payton isn’t an engine builder who runs a business, he’s a businessman who builds engines and pipes. You won’t see him going online and telling prospective customers to kick rocks.

Yo ,douche. Just as an FYI , I can guarantee you that I have more 2 stroke race bikes in my garage/shop RIGHT NOW than you’ve owned in your entire lifetime with at least 20 of them currently with modded engines, I have used just about every well known engine builder that you’ve heard about and can tell you unequivocally that Tom Morgan is the best dude to deal with. By far the best combination of skill/ attitude/communication/ professionalism and turnaround time. Honestly, there isn’t a very close second . Although That being said ,I’ve had great luck with Eric Gorr on my 144’s.

So don’t assume we are all “internet warriors “ because I am most certainly not the only guy commenting in this thread that builds and races bikes and have a huge amount of experience with multiple engine gurus

Like Mav stated, you can be best tuner in the world and get an extra half horsepower more than the next guy, but if you’re an arrogant ass hat (Harris) or take 2 years to return parts(Varner) then I’d rather burn a stack of Hundreds in my garage than give them my money,

I can and will opine on the engine builders I’ve used and I speak candidly and honestly. If you’re ok giving your cash to obnoxious idiots, that’s your prerogative. ......Now run along, mommy is calling you for dinner and remember to wash your hands

Make an invoice stating 14k of museum piece Mugen parts, are held ransom at his shop. Small claims court is 10k max, terry dosn,t show up in court. Your rewarded 10k. Put a bond against his buisness for 14k. No state or court wants a thief, running a buisness in any state. BBB complaints get the ball rolling. Oh you Lost 350k in revenue, by missing the Canadian Nationals. I wouldn’t want to pay that one.
I did the BBB route. Basically nothing happened.
I sorry to hear that. In a way it,s like your stuff was stolen. I had my storage unit robbed, 75k of property including 3 cr125,s. The bikes bother me more than the other stolen stuff. Terry just keeping your stuff is so wrong. Long story, but 4.5 yrs after the crime I got 2 of a group arrested. I tracked 3 down, 1 was in prison. I never got anything back. It,s still not over, there is an end. Just not a good one. I hope your story ends better.

The topic started to go sideways....you know, a little tiff and difference of opinions between fellow Vitards. Mav or someone had to clean up a bit.

Nothing really good, just someone complaining that the guys who haven’t gotten their stuff back should stop complaining now that they’ve posted their grievances. I took the bait....

X2. Of course I see the appeal to having the most well known engine builder do it. The guy that builds all the amateur champions engines! But if that guy is across the country I'll pass. I'd prefer my local guy who's most likely just as good

Yesterday Varner posted a link to a Jason Lawrence RM250 youtube video that RacerX had done on his Facebook page. Someone named Josh posted a comment to Varner saying people were trying to get ahold of him and were looking for their engine parts and posted a link to this thread. Someone needs to buy Josh Strukelj a beer.

Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas 2021 or 2034. He didn’t specify which holiday or decade for that matter.

2020 was such a disappointment that I'm leaning towards sending a motor here so I can be just as disappointed going into 2021 😂😂😉
