Not mine but would be cool for anyone looking to build a replica 05-07 RC4 RMZ.

No Factory ECU included ?????? Pffftt....

Seriously though, Goose is crying looking at those pics. Looks like it survived Limegate.

No statement or guarantee if it even runs. I'd be concerned about corrosion inside based on what the outside looks like.

If I had $5000 that’s not where I’d use it. I would probably get more enjoyment Out of burning it...

To me the fact it was RC’s practice bike means it decreases in value. That thing will have had such a hard life before it left RC’s hands.

5 grand for a fifteen year old motor that was beaten to shit by the fastest rider in the world at the time.

Sure why not, what's the worst thing that could happen?

The guy who buys this will either be someone doing a sweet replica build with no expense spared....or a dude with spoke skins and stock exhaust painted black with an FMF sticker on it - and it will show up again on Marketplace, and will obviously “wheelie in every gear” and be worth the $9,500 asking price because he will “know what he’s got”....And no trades...except for quads.

Its cool for sure. The Ti is pretty trick. What would it be like to get wear items like valves and pistons? It’s probably a lot different from production parts.

First part it correct. Second I don't see them paying that much for a motor when they paid less for the entire bike when they bought it. This is only good for someone trying to do a RC4 1st gen Suzuki four stroke build. It will be on ebay for a long time.

Damn - I think he dragged it out of his (not rain proof) shed after 10 years and used some scotchbrite on it before advertising it. That motor is looking ready for the spare parts bin.

Is there a way to authenticate it?
It would be interesting to see what is actually inside it.

What can you really do with the motor though? Probably has factory cams, crank, piston, valve train, etc. Serviceability is not straight forward.

IMHO, it's story piece that would be too questionable to actually ride with.

Put it on an engine stand and put it in the man cave or garage as "art"

How many people can claim to have a real RC4 motor in the garage?

IDK about 5k art butttt lol

I had similar thoughts after I opened the link to the add. If in fact it’s got the unobtainable parts inside the engine. More than likely it would need an overhaul before running it.

Someone broke into that barn and stole a bunch of Suzuki parts? I remember reading that article and thinking someone would probably be paying it a visit.
