Got the Pro Action suspension on it. They did similar valving, pistons, and springs that my 17 and 19 had. Threw on my IMS pegs. Got an ARC front brake lever. Need some new grips ASAP.

Items im waiting on:
-Ride Engineering lowering link. Big fan.
-ARC Clutch lever (Is the master cylinder the same as the kx450f? Maybe just buy one for that bike?)
-Plastic. Bike looks sweet, but the plastic is very minimal. Few attachment points and less robust than previous years.

Love the bike. Gave a full review in one of the other topics. This is the bike that will keep me from buying a ktm 350.

Complaints... Everything inside the sub-frame is complete chaos. The bike looks awesome bolted together. Awful fit/finish. In taking the rear shock off, I really got a taste for what going on there. We say at work "10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag" - exactly what doing on. Cool that they moved the battery down there, the plastic box is garbage. Modifications to the terminal connectors to put my Anti-gravity lithium battery in resulted in a poor cover fit. The whole airbox just kinda floats in the middle of the subframe and vaguely gets held in place by i think 2 bolts. Side number plates have zero strength to them and the clip/slide is something i would expect to see on a crf50. Im not impressed by the reduction of hardware. Oddly thats one of the features they presented in the 2021 release. Hondas re-design in this area is a poor effort compared to what yamaha did flipping the engine backwards and logically laying out fit/finish on the intake. I still think the 09-12 crf450 had the best plastic and sub-frame/seat layout. Oh well.

How did you like the Pro-Action?
Pro-action is great. Love their pistons/valving. Always makes the bike super level, predictable, bottomless, and stable.

Anyone know if OEM parts being available? Really want some of the new bolts.
Twin air filters?
Plastic?

They had the filters and I received them a week or two before I had my bike.

Jtiger12, I’m in the same boat as you. Been patiently waiting on mine and it’s getting frustrating. Did you get some info on delivery this week?

Got my second ride in mine this weekend struggled a little bit with riding due to a thumb injury I suffered in racing my sprint car (I know them things are dangerous). But I put the ping reccomended settings in it since still stock and I’m 210. Actually pulled the throttle since it was broke in.. it’s a rocket but manageable. Suspension is not bad stock but I’ll need to get it setup. So far so good.

I did.. talked to him Friday. He's been waiting on these bikes and I think I am around 4th or 5th in line. I sure hope I made the cut, sold my 2017 to my best riding buddy last week.

What were Pings mapping changes using the HRC tool? I didn’t catch them on his review and was going to have the dealer update it when I get my bike.

Were you at Briarcliff today? Saw one 21 Honda 450 there

I tried pings race spec settings in the video posted above. It is a night and day difference and the bike handles even better now. He was 100% correct in what he was saying on the forks. I initially went 6 clicks softer on the forks because they felt so harsh, Saturday I jumped straight to pings settings which was 9 clicks harder on the compression compared to where I was. I was completely surprised how good they became!

The best thing about the bike is it's his and the worst is it's not yours.

It's a 3M product. Home Depot in my area has it in stock (San Diego, CA) You buy it by the foot. Depending on how much you grip the bike with with your legs/feet, it lasts 1-2 rides. make a template from some thin cardboard (cereal box) and just trace it out on the new sheet, and cut with a scissors.

I was in the same boat. I was first on the list at a dealer in WV and they said it would be here last Monday. Called and they said it should be sometime last week. Never showed. I got super frustrated and almost strayed and got a kawi instead, but a local dealer that had one in stock quoted me $10,200 OTD. Needless to say, I left...called another local dealer, they had a ‘20 kaw and a ‘21 CRF450R...I thought maybe he messed up and it was an RX. Had him double check, he said the CRF450R was supposed to be picked up that morning but the guy found one closer to him so cancelled his purchase and it was available. 30 minutes later I was signing the papers! I got SUPER lucky!

Congrats on the new ride. I believe we’re getting discriminated against here in the southeast part of the country......lol

thank you very much. They are OEM replica I really liked the stock graphic but I wanted to change the blue to black so ERA MOTO killed it on this kit.
