I loved the group of rejects he had to support him while crying to get those kids DQ’ed. The one dude couldn’t even figure out his phone to show his evidence 😂

Hey DL, your grown ass son got smoked and your whole camp looks really dumb, yet again. How many times have you guys been involved in racing controversies now?

The only guy in boots somehow got his ankle broken by a kid in Vans 🙄

Did Leib cut the track really, he got pushed off and re-entered at the next safe spot, if he'd gotten back on at the landing of the table he would have gotten smoked by a wide open Palmer. Bottom line if you break someone's ankle at a fuckin pit bike race you're an asshole. No ifs ands or buts.

When the kid in Vans goes wide open into the guy in boots' ankle its not hard to believe. Im not sure how the choice of footwear matters when he's driving his front wheel into someone's leg. I'd be fuckin pissed too if someone busted my leg at a pitty race. If he didn't have boots on it would have been a lot worse.

If you get pushed off the track and your first move is to look over and click a gear to try and race someone who's still on the track for the position you're in the wrong. Stupid move by Leib.

The way I'm seeing this, Leib was in the wrong.

How anyone can argue that, other than a parent, is beyond me.

For sure, He could have easily gotten back on the track before the roller section. Losing time avoiding someone who wrecked is a part of racing, not a free pass to skip the next section while holding it wide open.

1) It's not AMA Pro racing so not sure why people keep trying to apply those rules. Appears to be basically unsanctioned outlaw racing. So stop saying there's some rule about him returning to the track,

2) I didn't see the part where he "clicked up a gear".

3) All the people saying "he cut the track he deserved to be taken out". In what world is it the responsibility of the other riders to issue out penalties?

4) If you watch the helmet vid of the takeout goon, you'll see he literally did the exact same thing after he took Leib out. He went off the side of the track and stayed in the gas and basically skipped the jumps on the next straight.

1. It might be outlaw racing but you are still supposed to stay on the track.

2. he actually pulled away from second place from the start of the whoops to the end of the whoops.

3. ML did not deserve to be taken out but had he slowed to re-enter the track he would have been passed before the whoops. ML knew this, hence why he kept on the gas off the track.

4. yes he did go off track, but it was one roller, not jumps. also, he did not gain any track position as a result of going off track.

my take, pretty aggressive move but it is racing (see Osborne/Savatgy as mentioned). I wonder if he did not clean him out if the race director would have DQ'd/docked ML for cutting the track and lost the race anyway?

I don't have a dog in this fight, but...

I usually look at "cutting the track" as taking a shorter route, not a longer one...even if there are some obstacles missed.

A quick brake tap by ML heading into the turn probably would have resulted in watching the rider on the inside going over the berm. I'm not sure he'd have made the corner without Michael there.

The "bro" factor was on par for an Elsinore race.

I give it an 8x. (Only a handful of you will get that joke.)

I'm still shocked there is an option to protest at a pit bike race.. ML saying "tear my bike down and check then" is hilarious. Yet another example of the world going soft!

So the guy ON the track should have slowed to let the guy OFF the track back on in first place? Hell to the no!

Michael didn’t cut the track. The other Palmer brother crashed before the finish line jump forcing him off the top of the jump and off the track. He lost about a 20 bike lead. He got back on at the first opening. Michael will post the video tomorrow. Bummer that The take out broke Michael’s leg. And bummer for the Palmers not finishing. The racing was really good. Too bad it ended up that way. Injuries are a big part of the sport but when riders get hurt from an intentional take out it’s unacceptable. Props to Havoc for penalizing Palmer.

You’re failing to realize that michaels leg was broken before this and that he even told everyone there he was wearing riding boots because of it. Props to Havoc?? As soon as you protested they bent over for you. Yea he got back at the first opening but was also hanging off the back of it wide open down the side of the track and still got cleaned out. You guys are clowns.

His foot was broken in 2015 and talas navicular fused in 2017. The take out fractured the fib. Totally unrelated. As for the protest where you at the riders meeting? Havoc was very clear that dirty riding would not be tolerated and they would DQ. What planet do you come from to think that a move like that is acceptable in moto or any other sport?
The planet of pitbike racing. That’s how all pitbike races are, full of takeouts. No protests tho lol

They both got DQ'd, it was the right call in my opinion.

No but the guy ON the track probably should have slowed to actually, you know, make the corner. Without Leib there he was going full send off that berm. IDK how anyone sees going wide open into the side of someone's leg as "racing"

That being said then ML should have seen it coming and did just that, but he didn't and here we are. Almost as bad as the pits after a sprint car race except they throw punches most times. Blush

Ok what was the "pitbike" race back in the late 70s where all the top riders would show up on crazy stuff like Tripes with a 250 motor is a mini frame and Glover with small wheels on a big bike and won etc . It was the "day before the night after" or "night after the day before" something like that. Then Jeff Ward shows up and runs away from everyone on his KX80 because he had just moved up to the 125 a year or two before. Also remember Langtown, now that was crazy.Woohoo

Sorry, but he cut track and powered into the corner.

What did they say at the rider meeting about cutting track? Mike Lame is such a priss goon.

Dude earned that win fair and square. The two crybabies need to go back to racing 101 or just kick rocks out of the scene.

No, he just should not have intentionally used ML as a berm.

No doubt, that had to be really cool to see your logo prominently displayed at a SX round. I was just making a playful jab at "no dog in this fight".
