We should be lucky Lommel is still happening. Over 13.000 new Covid cases in Belgium today with a population of 11,5 million. Numbers are rising quick around Europe, so wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see much racing after Lommel. Fingers crossed though

POSITIVE TESTS are not CASES. What we have is a Casedemic... there are as many false positives as actual cases. The test has between 1/3.% false positives. So ther more you test, the worse it looks , without anyome actually dying. With low prevalence against a high testing regime, is what is fucking the job over. Death rate is way down and will continue to be.. 130000 cases in the US that were Covid attributed are actually other undelying causes.

The best numbers we could see are increasing positive cases and fewer deaths as a percentage. Herd immunity is the end game.

If only the world could get this fact. The only numbers we should even be watching are deaths and hospitalizations. Both of which are currently at about 2/3's the normal rate of deaths from cancer.

Bingo. My county just told me my bar will have to close Monday because of a spike. 175 cases in 2 weeks and 4 hospitalizations. 4. Ummm, what? Why can I stay open for the weekend if it’s so dire?

Italy around 17000 i think the Lokdown comes the next few days

My German friends told me that in Germany they sold out again toilet paper this week. So the hysteria is coming back alongside everything that comes with it (closing cities, canceling events, etc).

Aldous Huxley predicted this year's ago, funny how media controls the world. Covid is serious but too much spotlight just drives everyone crazy.

As expected, the second wave is just starting, and we are just 1 month into autumn.

The positive cases were mostly youngsters, which was not severe ; it is starting to hit older people and currently the french covid departments are already full at 30%+, with 150 deaths today, 5 times more than last week. It is highly probable that in 1 to 2 months it will be over 1000 per day. (compared to the US and the total cases from the 1st wave, this second wave in 2-3 months could make 10000 deaths per day in the US)

This one was supposed to be less severe but it may be actually worse, nobody can predict it yet.

As it seems to be that there is about a 1 month delay between europe and the US, guys in the US, please be careful and take actions now or soon, especially if you or 1 of your family members are at risk (weight, age, diabete, etc). Avoid people or unmasked face to face meetings, and get ready (i.e. housing maintenance, buy a big extra freezer for the winter to avoid grocery shopping except deliveries, ready for home office for those working in offices, etc). It may help nobody but if it helps just a couple people then it is already not bad.

Wales or Ireland are not locking down again for 2 weeks for fun.

I have had it twice I’m pretty sure. I am around It a bunch because I work in health care. I tested positive the second time about a month ago but had the same symptoms in February but they wouldn’t test me unless I had been around a confirmed case. Several people around me tested positive. I felt like I had bronchitis for 2 weeks both times.

Those charts aren’t accurate. People like me who have to work in health care take multiple tests and the residents take multiple tests. I wonder how many in those numbers were multiple of the same person. If you want something more accurate go look at the death rates on a site like the department of health and hospitals for what state you are in. I own multiple facilities in two of those states and I am in and out of hospitals all the time. I haven’t seen 70% of ICU’s full of Covid patients in the two states I am in. I am not making this political. I am just stating what I have seen.

Masks and social distancing in effect and its still spreading. at what point do you say were doing what we can and ride it out till the vaccine is available? No matter what you do youre never getting millions of people to abide perfectly by the rules. Especially when we all know now that its not as serious as when it initially became an issue in march
