Best news of the week! Things did sound awful earlier on. Also great to hear the response of the responsible people in the organization & how much Kimi was involved in critical parts of his process to save his life. Also hats off for the medical crew on track. They are one of the reasons AJ is still with us. Hopefully he will have a great recovery!

Did anyone-else get that "Big Sigh of Relief" where you actually feel yourself let out a big "exhale"...?

Great news.

Wishing speedy recovery from here. Guy smoked Max Nagl and our local guys here back in June (btw. it was on a track where Jose Butron had his season ending crash in 2019). Absolute beaut. Cool

Also his story coming from Pfeil Kawi to Everts' awning in Zooki and then to factory Husky is worth its own movie.

I guess you coud say, "It's funny"...but, these kids getting hurt like this really gets to me these days. I'm just an old softie, I guess.

Time to build a "#27 FC450RE" for good MoJo! My #19 KTM worked for Bogle. (Started running "19" after Glendale...trying to channel "positive MoJo")

Only AJ could pull through what he went through, a true warrior.

To be fully honest I was afraid the past couple days to open this thread. However so happy I finally did and so happy to read this awesome news.

Can't lie even as a grown ass man I choked up reading the positive updates.

It's funny....as horrific as AJ's injury is/was and as sad as it made me...it wasn't till we got this good news that he actually woke up and is relatively OK, that my eyes welled up with tears....of happiness of course...as said by the Flaming Lips, "Happiness makes you cry." Man that was a close one! Welcome back AJ!!!

Great news. This one hit close to home. My brother had a similar accident and brain injury earlier this year and the 24 hours we waited to see how he would come back from the induced coma was probably the most horrible experience of my life. Let's hope he makes a full recovery.
