I do miss Tomac's Honda days but he going back red in the next 2 seasons seems like wishful thinking.

I think Sexton will be great. He’s only 20 years old. I don’t think he will achieve what Eli has, but you never know.

If the $$$ is right, Tomac would probably go to most factory teams.

I don't see him on another brand before he retires though.

I have noticed that as a rule, a rider rides for factory Honda once, no re-hires.

Honda runs off riders when they think they are getting past their prime, look at RC and McGrath and both went on to win lots more championships, don't really see them going after Tomac who is getting close to calling it a career.

Because Sexton is only in his third pro year (I think he already raced 2017 outdoors aswell tho), already having 2 sx east championships and his improvement from last to this year is incredible. He looks way more comfortable on the 450 and he works really hard for his fitness/endurance. I don't claim he will be the next dungey, but there is a good chance for Sexton to be the guy to beat for a couple of years.

And yes, Tomac will probably retire on green. I remember him on the whiskey throttle show saying that he wants to race as long as he feels like he can go out and win. I hope this will last for a couple more years.
