Not sure if this is the building I am thinking of but my Dad worked/ still kinda works with them on the auto side. I know he went to some private collection building where they do specialized stuff somewhere near LAX..... I'm still bitter I did not get clearance to go even as media. But getting the photo from him of a little goose poster in the hallway made it all better🤣

This is a nice opportunity for avg Joes and Janes to rediscover the outdoors and enjoy their live apart of a screen and ride a bike. I'm sure it'll benefit the MX in the long run, some guys will get hooked and yesss if the economy goes south this would change but myself and many others will be stocking up on low-priced bikes.
We need these companies to even make this ship float.... So if everybody shits on them for leaving it will make the next large company think twice before investing in us.
Jim in Marketing would say "Remember what they did to Geico Sir...after they left moto. Sir.... I think we should sponsor Rollerblading instead.... its safer Sir."
Just my worthless opinion.
One industry that I have NO empathy for during this pandemic is the insurance business. God forbid they have less profit in a business that should have ZERO profit.
I could care less if they sponsor a team or not. All I’m saying is that I’m not going to talk crap about any company who decides to leave a team after cutting their budget due to external environmental and social factors affecting their financial performance. You think Geico would put a couple of athletes ahead of hundreds of employees and their families?
And I agree, I don’t feel bad for insurers, for once they’re paying out after years of consumers paying high premiums, etc..
It’s like if Monster Energy dropped Kawi. Although I don’t consume energy drinks, I wouldn’t protest them and talk crap after they invested millions into our sport.
Pit Row
The lynch pin is Feld/AMA/MxSports conceding, for their growth of their own sports, dropping any and all vendor fees to reinvigorate ROI. There just isn't any ROI in this shit and that's what's clogging the dam.
I'd have no problem leaving a national with a 2600psi Karcher, a 40lb bag of Blue Buffalo, a solar kit for the roof of my sprinter, 2 stankdog shirts, a pair of Dunlops, a Yamaha inverter generator 3500kw, and a brochure and salesman's business card for a zero turn lawnmower, for a limited time with 0% financing for 36 months to those with approved credit*. Oh, don't forget the GoPro 8 black, and please, no helmet top mount. If it were all 10-20% off on account of reduced logistics cost, and 0 vendor fees. It would generate ticket sales in and of itself like a harbor freight sidewalk sale generates cheap bastards inside the store.
But, nah... I'll just get the same 3 shirts, from those same two black semi trailers, maybe spring for that 1:20 scale red bull KTM Ryan Dungey bike that's still sitting there....
I don't see any other Industry/product filling those shoes (Redbull, Monster, Rockstar).
Take Redbull X fighters as an example.. once they decided it was enough with their series, freestyle basically died.
Of course racing is different, OEMs are more invested in it than a side show like FMX was.. but seriously, when/if these energy drinks leave, what's the next big sponsor? I don't see CBD companies taking over to be honest.
All the mid moto go pro track lap from practice make me want to never buy a go pro.
