MX after broken Toe

It‘s not that big Injury a broken Toe but very annoying and painfull
I know every Injury is different but what are your expirience to get back on the bike 3-4-5 Weeks ?

I would say it's probably good to get back on the bike when it feels better?

Suck it up and you will eventually be fine.. I know a rider who lost his big toe and the one next to it. He took his boot off and the two toe were literally crushed off. He said he landed hard and his boot hit a root....the toes could not be repared.

I broke three toes on my left foot from hitting a concrete block. Effing painfull and I can recall it took roughly 2 months before I was back to normal.

Broke my big toe in December. Still hurts like hell if a stiff wind hits it and can't bend at the knuckle, but no problems riding

I fell at my job at the time in 2008. It was about a 10’ fall. Bruised a heel, still can’t run in a shoe that is not padded well or walk barefooted. Actually it hurts every morning the first few steps. Super painful injury.
I personally would advise you to let it heal up properly before riding. Your body will let you know.
Ultimately your call, best of luck.

That’s exactly what happened to me. High sided in a turn and the bike smashed my foot. 4 metatarsals. I actually don’t have any pain, the only time was when I was flying planes and had to use a pedal with my left foot.

Tape the broken toe to the other ones, and as soon as the swelling goes down enough to get your boot on it’s time to go riding.

I did the same exact thing in October. Still can’t bend it at the knuckle. Always feels jammed and uncomfortable. I have a feeling it will always be this way, 🤦🏻‍♂️

Broke metatarsal 3-4 5 years ago; my foot still sore after long days or cold. it’s whatever. I don’t feel when I’m riding. Just when I’m trying to sleep. Pisses me off. Although getting better with every passing month seems like, then I dab my foot in a corner or case something and then that resets the process. Damn it. I bet it hurts for life.

I broke my left big toe and tried to race a 125 the next week. Making over 30 gear changes a lap for 40 minutes was not possible for this kid.

Looks like your foot modelling days are over..
Just paint the rest of your nails black and do the trench coat look like an emo.

I broke my middle toe, middle bone jumping out of a stuck ski lift and landed on a rock. I didn't speak German and had to walk all the way back to base. Worst 5 KM of my life.

Kicked a rock in practice and knew I'd probably broken toes but decided to race anyway.Didn't take my boot off and went for it. rode with my foot forward on my peg because it didn't hurt as bad. Landed off a jump and my foot slipped off the peg, foot hit the ground then my bike hit my foot.ugly spiral Tib/ Fib break. Don't ride with broken toes! Let them heal!!!
