LOL, my wife was watching the main events yesterday which is rare, and she was just dumbfounded by the alligator story too. So if this stuff is being added in for the casual fan, it's not working there either.

You're onto something about RC, especially in the latter part of this season. When Ralph goes full retard, he is handling it with silence rather than trying to quickly carry forward with the racing. That silence has to be intentional. RC has stepped it up big time in 2020. He likes to do things well, one has to wonder what feedback he is giving NBC about his co-host.

Ok, Ralph isn't great by any means. But, it's kind of funny that some people on this forum bitch about how bad he is at live broadcasting and these same people can't even write a coherent sentence.

Some of my friends said Ralph is good for outsiders watching, but how is he good for newcomers? because he commentates like they're a bunch of rodeo clowns? Ralph sucks and I've been saying that since he came into the sport. He sounds belligerent when he commentates and he's always rambling about irrelevant shit. There's literally 100 people in the sport who'd love to be in his place and do a better job. "he's good for new viewers"... want to know what's good for new viewers? People who know what they're talking about.

I used to defend Ralph bit these last two seasons and this last especially it almost seems as if he's trying to so terrible he gets fired. It. Is. Awful.

And l agree with another poster that essentially except for Ricky they all need to go. Even Blair.

I completely understand mistakes are made, but Ralph makes them constantly. To the point that it’s embarrassing. I can tell RC is embarrassed by some of the things he says.

Now RC. He is ok. Not great, but ok.

PLEASE REPLACE RALPH! He's an embarrassment to the sport. He had WEEKS TO PREPARE for all this racing and he still manages to bungle it.

If I was that bad at my job I would be fired...

As for RC, he's not that good but I'll take it. At least he seems to try / he does actually know the sport...

I can't watch the sport in front of family members without being embarrassed. The production is just to cheeseball for a sport that actually requires insane talent, physical condition, and bravery.

This is the third time this season I've noticed he calls the action like the checkers have just flown.

I like Ralph. People are permitted to make mistakes. But maybe there really is an issue we don't know about.

I understand what you're saying but I promise you, there's A TON OF TALENT out there that would be better than Ralph, and for the sport. It's just reality. I can count on my hand, people I know in the "tv world", that would do a better job than Ralph with a month of prep. Guaranteed. Fucking stamp it or whatever you guys say.

Getting worse and worse. He’s fucked up now several weeks in a row. Thinking races are finished when there’s 1 to 2 laps left, completely calling people by the wrong name, etc...

Usually when someone fucks up everyday at work they get let go. I don’t understand why he still has his job

For example during Reed's One Last Ride press conference both Daniel and RC were inside and seemed to have it together meanwhile Ralph's out on what looks like a hike? He needs to go, some international talent gives the sport a worldly feel and Ralph referring to everything with a hint of Nascar to it has been going on far too long.

I don't see where it states anything about voice(s) of our sport, so I think we're good.

I don't believe this is disrespectful, I've noticed a decrease in his ability to perform and it's getting concerning. I hate that they do so much to get the message of Supercross out, and we have someone making a ton of mistakes and just overall sounding very cheesy and irrelevant.

Ralph and Ricky are the first impression to potential fans. Ricky makes sense and is getting much better, Ralph has gone from tolerable to really, really bad over the last 15 years or whatever it's been.

It's time for a refresh with respects to the play-by-play role on the broadcast. While RC seems to be on the way up with his colour commentary, Ralph is very obviously on the way down in my opinion. The mistakes are coming thick and fast, and the random tidbits are embarrassing to me as a core fan of the sport. How about shouting out one of the brands that is investing hundreds of thousands of dollars to get that rider and team to the races, rather than telling us some bullshit story that has no relevance to what is happening on the screen. Shit even if he just learnt the names and teams of the riders outside the top 15 that would be a start.

I don't mind the stories about riders' hobbies and other stuff very much. It gives them some depth- but he has missed up two finishes. I'm pretty sure the number one job of the announcer is to get it right who won the race, and when.
