We placed a big order I think last Thursday about mid day mostly plastics, and oil/oil filters. Everything showed up the next morning not even 24 hours I believe ! I live in southern Ohio so shipping from Kentucky warehouse is very quick usually, however the packages were marked from payson, UT Huh I’ll take it !

RMATV is pretty much my go to for dirt bike. Ordered some thing a couple of weeks ago and it took a while. Not normal for them but I get it. Ordered a rear tire (Chap Moto) RMATV was out of stock got it in 3 days. If its something I have to have to ride I'll go local until this Chinese virus garbage subsides.

I recently did 2 RMATVMC orders. Items from their Kentucky warehouse arrived in 3-4 days and Utah was 5-6 days.

I ordered some stuff on the 6th. Checkout showed normal delivery. After a couple days(didn't need it fast) I called & was told there was a 3-5 day delay in shipping & that delivery times had been updated. Waited another week & called again and was told that it was now a week or two delay in shipping? I understand they are dealing with issues but like I told both reps(politely) please give me realistic time period. Obviously that didn't happen the first time or at order. Shipped today looks like so one-two weeks to ship is what to expect I guess?......unless that's changed lol.......

My last few orders have taken almost 25 days to deliver to me. And we are a bordering state but they have been holding orders before shipping them. Phone line's for over 30 min holds to get them to say that it's delayed and should be sent anytime? Hoping this type of service is temporary and I do understand. Maybe this is the new norm?

Had a similar issue a few weeks ago. My order showed as "in process" for a week. I emailed them on a Saturday, exactly one week after I ordered. Got no response, but on the following Monday it showed as shipped and arrive the next day.
I just think they're; 1. getting a lot of orders 2. are having to adjust to weird shipping issues right now 3. Short staffed.
All that said, this is the only time I've ever dealt with a single "issue" from rocky mountain, so I'm cutting them a break given the situation, and feel you might want to, too.
That said, if it's urgent, or really bothering you, I would just call them, if you can. Not sure how that would work for you, and your situation though.
Best of luck!

I ordered 6 items on May 9th late in the evening. 4 arrived last Wednesday, the other 2 have not shipped yet. Everything was in stock so I don't know why everything didn't ship out early last week. I probably wouldn't have even worried about it if nothing had shipped out yet, but since my last 2 items haven't shipped out yet I contacted someone today via chat since their line was busy the 3 times I called.

Supposedly my last 2 items will ship out next Monday. I don't want to sound impatient, I realize we have something slowing down orders and shipments, it just had me confused why 2/3 of the items shipped out right away and the other items hadn't even been shipped yet.

I ordered the beginning of the month and just received my order today. Put another order in 2 days late and got part of it last week. The other items from that order should be here tomorrow.

I also placed an order a week ago. The parts coming from their Kentucky warehouse shipped, but the ones from Utah have not yet. When you placed the order it should have given an expected delivery. Mine was May 26. With their statement on the website, I was expecting delays of a few days, not a few weeks. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of transparency until after they get paid. They should be more upfront about how long the delays are.

they give you the estimated delivery date before you purchase.

i think the delays are more due to shipping services rather then their warhouse not having staff.
I mean, I saw the notice that said "may be delayed", but it didn't give a date. For some reason I was thinking I only got the date AFTER I paid, but maybe I just missed it while I was checking out. I was only upset thinking that they didn't tell you the date until after. If they did and I missed it, that's on me, and I wouldn't be upset at all.

They for sure tell you before you place the order. Mine said May 19th and for some reason I thought we were only a couple days away. I was thinking the 9th. Oooops

Not true. I work at a shop, ordered some parts for myself from the PU warehouse in NC on Tuesday, showed up Friday.

even locally the shipping times are 2 weeks whereas they used to be less than 24 hours to my door.

i'm lucky to be close by though, this morning i placed a big order and will be passing by to pick them up via will-call tomorrow morning.

I ordered a battery for my street bike and waited almost 2 weeks and still no shipping so I cancelled my order with Rocky Mountain and ordered from Parts Unlimited on Ebay and got it in two days! I don't know why the Virus has impacted RM to this extent. They have been my go to site for the last 8 years.

I have made several orders from Ebay in the past month and none have been delivered by the stated date on the listed product. All have been delayed for many , many days. That is a poor way to do business. If the seller guaranteed a delivery dated than they must live with it.

Paw Paw
I sell and buy a ton on eBay. Right now it's not the seller's fault. I process everything within 24hrs of purchase and the couriers are holding packages, etc. We don't control the estimated delivery dates. It's up to the courier to meet the deadline. This has been my experience throughout Covid-19.

I needed 2 small Tusk items fairly quick and decided to pay a dollar or two more on Ebay for them. The couple extra bucks spent on each item actually still ended up being less than I would have spent at RM with the $7 shipping fee. I believe I ordered Thursday evening and found them in my mailbox yesterday. Not in any way a knock on RM or Motosport as I still love those stores, but Ebay has definitely been a little quicker and cheaper for shipping on some items. Especially for a guy restoring a 94 YZ. I do try to stick to RM or Motosport when doing OEM parts though.

Whenever ordering OEM parts from Rocky or any other site you are at the mercy of the OEM. It will say in stock because it is...at the OEM location not at Rocky’s or whoever’s warehouse. always expect this to take a week or so plus shipping time.

Thats false. Ive gotten so many things from rocky. Oem parts mixed with aftermarket all in the same box, within days of placing the order. No way it came from anywhere else except rockys location.

RM is the only one that i know of that doesn’t drop ship the majority of their OEM parts, they actually have them in their warehouse.

look guys we aren’t at a normal state or steady state of operations... it’s frustrating but it is what it is. we are lucky they are open at all and everyone staying at home placed a larger than normal load on the staff that are working. just be patient it’s a great company that is doing the best it can in an environment where many businesses won’t recover from.

I’m not holding it against them or complaining. They are still the best in the business, and are dealing with crazy circumstances right now. Just a frame of reference for others who haven’t gotten their stuff.
exact same dates of order - KY order received within 3 days, UT order did not ship until Friday 5/15, shows delivery date of tomorrow
