he definitely marches to his own tune...I don't agree with some of the stuff he says, but I think he's a super nice guy. I met him at Rynoland during a Dirt Rider test, and he was awesome to be around.

I would venture to guess that he is probably more fit today than half the field in pro motocross. Obviously the top 10 dudes have their crap together, but I would bet that he has better fitness than even some of them.

Count me as a fan, he's morphed into some kind of Zen Moto Guru and he's always entertaining.
A few minutes into one of those Coldenhoff videos, he says "your brain is a muscle." Umm....no. That hurts his credibility a bit, because that's just nonsense (he seemed to be serious).

Some classic vids on there. Seen a few dudes that thought they were Billy Badass on track jack with slower rider....then when got back to pits got they're ass kicked and whined like a bitch...when they discovered the slow dude was a linebacker or such...funny as hell

agreed. I would assume there was some type of psychedelic journey there that has brought him to where he is. You can see he still has that intensity about him, he always will because that's who he is, but he has found something more in life than trying to win at all costs.
Lost his mind? nope, just on his own unique personal journey through life and I enjoy watching it regardless of if I agree with everything he says or not.

All the times I've seen this picture, I never noticed the fan banner in the background until just now. "HUGHES #9 - TAKE NO PRISONERS" That makes this picture even more badass.

I've known of few guys that have gotten into that zen/buddism/universe/whatever you wanna call it....and they've all gone way off the deep end, completely changed them...they sound a lot like Ryno does now.

Say what you want about Ryno.....but I’ll never forget when he made his return to racing and riding the KTM 125. He was training at Cuhuilla Creek and a slower rider cut him off off doing the big downhill jump they had next to the parking lot. He had to jump out in to the boulders (big dirt chunks pushed off from the dozer) and I thought he was done. He swapped around down the hill, bars going every direction and somehow he hung on and rode it out. He came back on at the bottom of the hill, didn’t even put a foot out and blew up the right hand turn and was gone. If that would have been me the bars would have been immediately ripped out of my hands and I would have probably cartwheeled to my death. I couldn’t believe it.

I mean he is out there, and maybe the delivery isn't always the best, but most of the time he's not wrong.

Nice even tussle between two fella's who did everything wrong when involved in an altercation. I wouldn't call that a no contest. They both get L's haha Laughing

Honestly yeah hes a bit wild and his personality in small doses for me would be just fine. However the training video i watched of Glenn was pretty fuckin badass. Im 100% sure he would of mentally broke me in that gym lmfao possible tears falling from my eyes for sure.

His training methods are unique but something tells me hes closer to being right than he is wrong. The balance, the core strength and the commitment to things. I give him respects for sure

When I see the video of the fight I see why he's on a spiritual quest. That's an unbalanced individual. He's quoting Alan Watts on Instagram, who is a pretty well known Zen thinker. Zen is not some loopy theories, it's based on philosophy that's thousands of years old and was used by some Samurai warriors. He seems to be much more on the right track now then he was a few years ago.

I don't know why but he reminds me exactly of the guy at my gym that every time I look over he is giving other people advice and quoting lots of scientific data/workout routines etc and is clearly evident that he doesn't know what he's talking about by looking at his body compared to mine who I keep my mouth shut and let my body speak for itself at the gym and am in twice as good of shape as Mr. advice giver..
Not saying he isn't a badass dude on a bike, just that some people over analyze every aspect and worship textbooks/theory compared to doing the hard physical work it takes. Again, not saying this is him just what he reminds me of.

As kooky as he seems, he has a way of articulating on the bike coaching in a way that breaks it down to very simple things, sometimes he goes on and on a bit which complicates it.
