After Re-watching the race today I really feel like this is the year Eli gets it.
He went off the track but totally kept his cool and rode conservatively for a lap before dropping the hammer. I wouldn’t be suprised to see him go on a run from here.

Hard to say. He's the fastest. But mistakes like these can easily cost him the title if Kenny stays as consistent as he has been after round 2.

Hopefully Webb starts to win soon so we get 3 guys battling for the title

Please don't jinx him!

I want this championship to be his, then go for his 4th straight MX title. In 2021 I don't care if he wins the SX championship, but I sure wish he takes 5 outdoors titles in a row. One can dream.

He really has had some bad luck and deserves to win one of these before it’s over. 29 wins now. I know everybody has their theories about him in SX, but it’s racing and sometimes stuff just happens like the issues the past few years.

I pretty much compare this to last years outdoor championship. Him and Kenny are swinging blow for blow early on, but when Tomac needs to win he can go to that next level that I don’t think Ken is interested in going to. He has the bike dialed and seems to be way more aggressive making passes then in years past.

I can only dream that he wins the next 2 SX and MX titles then rides off into the sunset at MXDN-Maggoria? in 2021 with a 1-1 over Herlings with the US winning the overall.

I think it would be a little sad if Tomac with all his speed never wins a championship, but at the end of the day I'd still be pretty content if I were him or Kenny. Sometimes the fastest guys don't win the championships. And this is probably an unpopular opinion but personally I'd rather be Eli and feel like I'm the fastest out there, have 29 wins and counting than be Webb or Anderson with a championship and 7 wins. (Not to belittle their accomplishments at all!)

Thanks to Coopers dumb ass. I can not stand that dude. Goes back to his 250 days when he would punt people out of his way, but whine and bitch like a little girl when someone did it to him.

He won’t run up front unless the tracks are tight and have a small whoop section. That’s the only races he’s going to be up front. He’s not in anyone’s head this year.

Too early to call, but Eli is in a great position. I certainly hope KR doesn't have an injury that will slow his momentum, but there are still a few key players with Webb and Adam. I really think once Adam gets his first 450 win, he will be dangerous. Watching the last few seasons, it amazes me how guys like RV and then Dungey had such an amazing race craft. From 2010 to 2017 it was the Ryan show.

Either way, this season is shaping up to be a good one for us fans.

Oakland has been hard on Roczen's ankles. 2015 when he cased hard. Now this.

No way I'm going to say Tomac has this. He had the red plate after San Diego last year and promptly laid 2 eggs at Minneapolis and Arlington, 6th and 12th just riding around. And Webb will be a factor, the tracks going forward are for the most part softer with whoops that break down. If he gets his starts back to 2019 level, watch out....

Kenny handled him last weekend. Seems like it’s going to depend on who likes east coast dirt more.

Don't know if he's got it, but he definitely seems happier/lighter more "normal" in a sense... throwing the horns on the podium, interviews seem more relaxed.

Maybe his personal life moving on have helped things click.
