This kid speaks more maturely than most guys in the sport, and people commenting about the incident, (especially on Vital). I give you my respect, Jett.

Honestly guys you need to lay off @dylanferrandis it’s gone a bit too far so I needed to say something. We are all racing at the highest level and have to make decisions in the blink of an eye that can determine the outcome of a race or night. Sometimes this process pays off sometimes it doesn’t and we end up doing “dumb” stuff . We are all out there laying it on the line every Saturday night for your guys entertainment and would never do anything on purpose to hurt another rider! I understand being bummed on your favorite rider crashing out or being taken out and I don’t like what happened to Christian ! but in this sport this can happen and a lot of you guys love it for that very reason. I look forward to racing with Dylan and Christian and everyone else over the next few months then outdoors and no doubt we will rub plastic and heck I might do something wrong but it won’t be on purpose to hurt another rider other than to get a win or a championship.

People can be complete pieces of crap. It's not isolated to the motocross community....people surprise me with how shitty they can be. On the other hand....they also surprise me with how awesome they can be.

He should have made contact( read clean out) ferrandis in the last corner before he crashed. He was too nice for him

I rewatched it again this morning. While I agree that he should have been more aggressive in that last right-hander, I think Dylan had just enough of an edge that it would have been tough for Jett to make it work effectively.

This kid has come in doing all the right things. He is nailing things PR wise, on the bike he is fast as fuck, exciting to watch and has enormous balls and a must win attitude.

His timing is perfect too. Chad Reed is going out and Jett is giving us Aussies a homegrown rider to love and cheer with speed to actually maybe win championship. He might never do so. But I think once he matures he's always going to be in the title hunt. I cant believe just how well he has done so early against quality riders. Before and since Chad we haven't ever really had anyone look competitive. Our best were mediocre compared to the best from America and European countries.

He seems lile an Aussie Adam Ciancarulo. AC has quickly become a favorite of mine because of his attitude off the bike and his skills on it. So many riders with insane skills these days. Guys who make you fans because they do things that are so incredible you HAVE to admire them.
