Thanks Marko. I read that it breaks at the point where the tab offsets, so would I be making a piece to double up the material and would the piece be welded to the face of the tab or to the back? In my sketch, the dashed lines represent the additional tab to be welded on.
Bike started to backfire, I figured it was the valve clearance. (56 hours). Let the bike cool down and the went to check the exhaust and found it loose at the header where it meets the muffler and the motor. Checked the bolts, they were torqued as recommended. Pulled the header off to find this.
Pit Row
I still run the stock on mine but would like to have a slip on but they are expensive.

The first problem is, the lower part of the radiator shroud doesn't reach the mounting hole with out completely forcing and bending it into place.
The reason, there is almost no room stock between the shroud and radiator, so you add in the brace, and it pushes the shroud way out where it needs to mount, and on the inside of the shroud where the plastic runs vertically along the radiator, that is now pushed out from the thickness of the brace.
I've tried mounting this in various mm increments to find the best fit, if it's too far forward, it pushes that lower rad. mount out further, but makes for easier fit at this location, if it's too far back, it makes it easier to mount at the lower rad. mount, but then the shroud has to bend around the brace and be forced to bolt up even with the spacer.
