Yes, the news is he is holding a riding school with Buddy Antunez. Hit them up on instagram if interested.

What I got from the pulp conversation is he's positioning himself to move on.

Listen to the last pulp episode. Answers will seem clear.

He’s selling furniture and holding riding schools.

You’re crazy
He’s far from fat ! He’s always been a big boned guy and will always appear to be bigger than most of his competition

i know....he just didn't look to be in supercross championship riding shape. He is far from fat by any standards except that of a contending supercross pro.

I chatted with him a while back. He said he needed to write something up, but is in no rush to get that done.

Personally, I think if he's going to call it a career, I think it'd be cool to see him get in a lap around the stadium at one of the upcoming SX rounds. That'd be a solid way to go out.

"supercross championship riding shape" "except that of a contending supercross pro"

When those guys are in prime moto shape....they are so freaking skinny-fit that they look like string beans.

Comeback? To who?

Making judgements on a riders "shape" while not considering the injuries he sustained last year is exactly an outside your mind moment. Maybe Moto520 forgot WP literally got his skull crushed a year ago.

He is very fortunate to be alive. Now looking at a life altering sight problem. I thought this was common knowledge.

You realize he had a terrible accident that’s hindered his racing career, right?

Yes.....he still doesn’t look to be in supercross podium contention shape. So what? What does one have to do with the other? He is probably not getting crazy fit because he’s not racing.

Life is just not fair...but we all knew that.

Weston did things that I do not recall anyone else every doing in SX. He went from a guy who was 50/50 to reliably make the main....to a factory / podium capable SX rider. Every year...he got a few places better. Year after year after year after year. No one does that. Guys who are going to be podium level SX riders in the modern era have the skills from the outset. No one escapes Privateer Island and becomes a factory / podium level guy. But WP did just that. He progression in the sport was truly unique and exceptional. There was a chance that one day, under the right circumstances....me might have stood on the top step of a SX podium.

His story is definitely as blue collar as moto gets. He was always appreciative to everyone that helped him along the way. Good guy. He will do well at anything he applies himself to. He’s a worker.

Didn't Henry and Dowd start out as privateers? Pretty sure others of done this as well. No knock on Weston but others have done that.
