Mine was a 1974 Suzuki TS100. Within 3 months of buying it, I had the lights off and was racing MX on it.

I recently picked up a 1970 Honda CT70 mini trail and restored it. It seems like everyone that see's that bike started out riding those.

77 XR 75, Had to keep it in the woods at the riding area chained to a tree because parents said no motorcycles. Had to sell it back to original owner when caught for 100 bucks. Bought for $275 thought if I told my parents it was such a good deal they would let me keep it, OOPS.

When I was 7, my parents bought my brother and me a new '71 Honda SL70 to share. I didn't get my own bike until my 10th b-day when they got me a '73 XR75.

1971 Yamaha JT-1 "Mini Enduro". Red and white. My uncle bought it for me when I was nine. I spent the next couple days riding between our yard and the neighbors. Man was the neighbor pissed when he came home from the beach and found an oval shaped path worn into his nicely manicured lawn. Can't say I blame him now that I'm a homeowner with a nice lawn...

A home built mini-bike by Eddie Crowel out of Crowels Cycles in Inglewood, CA - 1969

Hodaka forks cut down, Curnut rear shocks, 5 HP Briggs and Stranton engine w/ an Eddlebrock Cam and I'm sure a host of other stuff that I'm not aware of. I would love to have this bike back again.

69 Yamaha 90 two flat tires had to push it home. It would not have mattered because I did not know how to ride.

1968 Honda Mini-Trail. Second bike was a 1969 Indian 50 Boy Racer. I still have both of them, although they are rough.

Let's check it out! Throw up a pic.

My first bike was when I was 12. A 1972 Yamaha AT-1 Enduro. It had a 175 cylinder on it. I'll never forget how excited I was to have it and to ride it. Great memories.

Yamaha JT-1. I think it was a 71, but I'm not sure. It had been hand painted a few times, had year-old gas in it with a rusty tank, and a throttle that was super stiff, but man I loved it! Ended up seizing it doing doughnuts in the front yard right in the middle of summer.

Not knowing what to do to fix it, my dad took it to the dump.

Not counting the B&S powered "mini-bike", my first bike was a Yamaha Mini Enduro like the one in 300zx's post.

an old Honda 50. Don't know the year but it was a 70's model. A 1980 Yamaha GT 80 is what got me hooked though.

I had a 1967 Honda Super 90, I thought I was the chit. Similar to JPT's but mine was way rattier. Had a pillow bungee corded to the frame (seat) had to bump start it and no back brake. When we moved oversea's, I tried to give it to the local Honda shop. They didnt want it. I paid 35 dollars for it. I learned how to use a clutch on that beauty.
