I noticed earlier this year that when he's riding it looks kinda like he's looking slightly to the left.. It's really obvious when he's coming into right turns (@30 secs in this vid for example)

I just thought it was just maybe a head position habit, then I saw these pics that Bluelion took, which makes it look like a helmet setup choice

Anyway I had to share in case someone has an answer why.. Now gladly accepting your much TY's

Not everyone (well, buggerall people) has a symmetrical head or face.

It's as simple as that.

Steve Caballero does that too, and he still skateboards better than 99% of people out there. I saw him ride at Hollister Hills a few times too, and he's no slouch in the dirt either.

That's true but that's not what's goin on cause if his face was so unsymmetrical that you notice it when he's riding you'd definitely notice it with out his helmet on haha and he's a regular lookin rooster without it on

I'm thinking it might just be a habit that he doesn't shake cause it obviously doesn't affect his riding at all haha

Have a squizz at his scone in one of the recent vids - I think it might be the FMF one.

You can see his lack of facial symmetry. It's nothing nothing unusual among you of the hoi polloi - something makes me sure you're as ugly as a smashed pie, Jemcee. I, on the other hand, am "Beario, The Most Beautiful Man In The World " Woohoo

You're a just a little bit weird, Jemcee..............Whistling

Holy crap,

If this is any preview the off season is going to be the silliest, and longest ever.

Along with facial symmetry we can look forward to lengthy debates on riders preferences boxer vs briefs vs commando,

I miss 2st vs 4st and seat bounce debates

He’s like a chicken. His head stays in one spot and the rest of him swivels. Grinning

He has a slight neck tilt and yes you can notice it without a helmet on. Usually happens when you favour one side when sleeping or lying down to watch tv etc

I would have never noticed that. Mad I clicked on this thread now lol. Regardless he’s my favorite 250 rider. I love his aggression and style, and now even more so he’s over there doing it in the sand pits for our country! Get em coop!

Anyone remember this head position. Made me cringe the day it happened and I still think of it today. Kenny Anderson Bengals

Everytime I watch Cunningham ride I notice that; I think you could put 100 guys on a supercross track and within the first rhythm section pick Kyle out. Super fast though, so doing something right!

Perhaps he has a lazy eye. Or was mashed up with a massive head tilt while developing as a fetus in the womb. Jk.

Cunningham has a strange style. His torso stays vertical on the bike. No disrespect, he is a phenomenal racer, but his style looks kind of goonish.

Almost like he doesn’t have much upper body strength. If you watch him, you’ll see his head and body bounce around and get really close to hitting the bars almost every race. And his elbows are always down.

But like you said, he is fast so he’s doing something right. I’d bet he’d be even faster with better form.

Left handed? My youngest son (left handed) does it with hats and helmets. Ever see a left handed pitcher's hat? They are always off-center. 😄

It’s as simple as having an overly dominate eye. Most people switch back and forth between their eyes, with one being favored over the other.

Some rely on their dominate eye more and orient their head accordingly

Haha true.. I remember Matthes saying somewhere that his nickname was Bobbles.

Not sure if Cunningham was in on that joke or not though haha
