Lastander - Work the clutch like a factory rider, and you'd better have a factory budget to go along with it. Stop working the clutch like a mo - fo, and you'll be fine...

I use Rekluse, they last forever, but then again I am not a clutch 'abuser'

Try adding 150-200cc of oil.

Forge it in the extra 200cc’s?

You could solve this rational problem by finding the common denominator in this equation.

Put the rekluse torq drive auto clutch in it. And remove the clutch lever so you lay off of it. God damn!

Where did you even found 3500€ for clutches.
It’s my budget for a year of races, tires, top ends and stuff.

Do they use solid steel plates on the Honda kit or ones with the holes in them?

Did you put the correct clutch in? I remember awhile back when you first posted this that you used the clutch out of your other Honda and I believe a guy from Rekcluse said that they weren't interchangeable. Something about a bearing.

You’re the problem. I’m a self proclaimed clutch abuser and found a happy medium with the manual Rekluse Torque Drive setup in my 18 Crf. I ran an extra 200cc of oil in mine and that helped.
I was getting 2-4 hrs out of the stock clutch and with the Rekluse I was getting 15-20 hrs.
I’ve got 33 hrs on my 19 yz450f and I’m due for a clutch now.

I put a tusk competition clutch in my 2017 with a Magura hydro and absolutely love it. I removed the Rekluse CX. The hydro clutch is great for me.

35 hours on my 2018. (I know, I don't get to ride enough) Clutch is fine. I give it stab here and there. Stock oil amount. You guys who barbecue clutches must be riding in 4th gear and slipping it around the whole track. It ain't a 125.

Dam man, you are hauling the mail on those tracks. Just gotta stay off the clutch and see if it helps save it.

I have gotten a few new parts from my Honda dealer, and i have a few new baskets coming from Rekluse to hopefully fix my issues.
This time the fixed inner ring (not sure what its really called in english) came loose again, so the bike is really to powerful so the cogs and such that are forged and bolted to place gets torn off.
Everything has been properly fitted and done correctly since day one

I ride dutch and belgium championship races with guys like strijbos and dewulf, i always finish in the same lap or i'm just getting lapped sometimes and i run stock basket and pressure plate with Barnett plates and Barnett springs, my clutch always holds up more then 15/20 hours. I also add 150/200cc oil. I'm really a clutch user but you gotta do it the right way, only use it out of corners to make the bike pop out of ruts and stuff, if u start using the clutch to tame the engine because it is to fast then the honda is not the right bike for you.

There are also a lot of guys in Holland who have the problems like you with their Rekluse systems. Its just to rigid with their Torqdrive setup. 62hp 1 cilinder bikes that weigh 105kg just need a little slip

Hi I have a 2017 CRF450 and was about to drop money on a Hinson, but we started looking at the design of
the throw out lifter and basket etc.

Essentially, block the lifter outlet hole and drill some holes in basket fingers and pressure plate
for better lubrication and to retain oil pressure in the clutch. Run thinner steels to allow an extra fiber
plate (throw away the spring washer) and you have a working clutch a la 2008 and earlier.

This is a cheap DIY fix.
